The only reason I asked is that Rhode Island is the only State I was aware of that didn't have county sheriffs.

I vote as often as I can at as many post as I can all in the same election.

turned 18 a couple of months ago, i look forward to vote though, but do not know how to register

In canada you need some ..... but in a provincial election a TV show host took a girl and made her vote 12 times.

I've had to show my ID every time I've voted. But now that I think of it, I think I've shown my voter registration card a time or two. But yeah, ID should be presented.

In the greater metro area that I live in I go to the post to vote they say ....

Hi <insert real name>, how the family? How's the farm? etc etc ... do you have an ID?

NOTE: My town has less than a 100 people in it, so it no mystery who any one might be, but we still have to show an ID it's State/Commonwelth Law.

My Mother always votes unless she is sick. I'm too young if i could I wouldn't vote I would run for office. But my city holds rigged elections.

Can't vote in the American elections, nor would i want to! What a sham the Republicans and Democrats both are. Democrats are the worst cause they are SO PHONEY... (John Kerry was just Bush Lite...)

It's compulsory to vote in Australia, but next door here in New Zealand it's only compulsory to be registered to vote...

Democrocy shouldn't be compulsed. But the awnser to the US problem: A Indepent South.
Let us learn from Yasir's legacy...it will help South free from Yankees.

Technically, its onyl compulsory to turn up at the voting place. You dont actually have to vote for anyone, you just have to turn up and get your name marked off.

I actually make my vote count double, by convincing CivGeneral to go vote if he agrees with me, and depressing him into staying home if he doesn't. :D
