Not the music (though I'm @Hygro and myself are fans), but the energy, the crowd, the style, etc. The scene, basically, as portrayed in the video.

I think a youtube comment summed it up for me "[shoot] I need to go to these parties!"

But I have a feeling I'm in the minority here at cfc.

I've aged out! I went to one of their shows actually, I think in 2010. Bad vibes. I like the harder stuff now, The techno. It doesn't seem harder, because it's not so obvious, until you realize there's no drop because you're locked in at the top for 5 hours.

But I certainly have a soft spot for my early 20s electro scene. I myself ended up crowd surfing one of my gigs, got greedy and kept surfing until I got dropped on my coccyx. . . fortunately on a hardwood floor.

I prefer more building edm (this sort of thing https://youtube.com/c/ProgressiveClassics ) this dubstep stuff or whatever it is for kids.

I'd prefer a festival outdoors not in a super loud warehouse where everyone is f-ed up, unlikely to make any lasting connections there.
