i don't really know the names of all the provinces- do you think, if you ever have time, you could update the province map so all the provinces are named? it would help me and probably others too.

- i have no idea what the lanka provinces are called... or pythium's (except one)-

its a minor detail but it would be helpful for me.

Hello everyone! I'm Raven (pun intended for post above) and I just like to thank you for all the wonderful dominions stories on this nes game. All of them were just so entertaining especially the story on turn 0, it gave me some answers about the beginning of dominions hehehe...

Anyways, again I'm just dropping by to say you guys are awesome and hope to see more turns in the future!

I know the map is the map of the old world however I just can't help but be amazed by how almost accurate the placings were made in regards to an old dominions 1 map called "The Old World" in which the placements of the nations on this nes parallel to the original placements of the same nations on that map.

Ermor - Rome (Latvia)
Marignon - Spain (Catalonia)
Man - Britain (Mercia)

I placed the nations more or less near where they should be in real world while still not having the map be Earth: Arcoscephale, Pangaea and Pythium are all crowded together on a real world map, with Ashdod Caelum, C'tis and probably Agartha not far away... Same for Jotunheim/Vanheim, while at the same time, most of America, Asia and Africa would have been empty.

Raven, i am not sure if you are new to the NESing concept or not; i suspect you are from the Shrapnel forums, but you should consider joining us. There are a few very important nations involved in major world battles and politics and it would be nice to have them controlled by a player instead of a moderator.
I am sure my enemies would love to have a player-controlled Lanka, Abyssia or Jutenheim to negotiate with.

Thank you Immaculate, I would be honored to lead a nation and join on this nes game. Actually I have been playing nes games before so many years back though we did not call it nes during those days, we just call it forum games or something. However I should also stress that since its been a very long time since I've played, I'm already considered a newb with the knowledge that I have right now so give me a few turns before I'll get a hang of it again. ^_^

However I should also stress out that I'm also alright with just being an observer since it would be very rude to someone when suddenly that someone receives a message that says something like "The people from the province of ??? has suddenly revolted from their former master wishing instead of serving a local diety and making it their pretender god". Ahahahaha...

I got a bit ahead of myself- Ldicesare should be the one inviting you. Having said that, i am sure he would be very welcoming of new players (he has been in the past). Since you are interested in writing stories, i think you would fit in very well and since you are familiar with dominions, i think you would understand the game concepts easily enough.

I am 90% sure that Ldi will welcome you with open arms- if i were you i would start thinking about what (EDIT: currently NPC) nation you want to play and if you want to change their political or diplomatic viewpoint, why they would do that (you would probably need a story to explain radical differences in foreign or domestic policy)...
