But the goddesses were joint in their work. TK began first, while the goddesses began together...:mischief:

Actually no, Din, Farore and Nayru each did their work separately, one after the other, as shown in Ocarina of Time. Anyway, back to IOT. :p

But TK is above conflict. He won already. :mischief:

Nobody won the conflict. It set the precedent anybody could host an IOT at any time, resulting in the plethora of games we have running nowadays.

And on the negative side, the occasional glut when too many players try to run games. Summer is always a fun season.

LIES! TK is a god! He is above conflict! Hence he is above war, meaning he wins

Anyway TK won with Iron and Blood.

Tani continues to propagate the myth that there was ever a war of succession to begin with. The only meaningful clash of civilizations was between him and Joecoolyo over how much say players should have in the running of the game.

Would that make TK the creator of the creator? It was his post empire idea that lead to IOT after all.

And Whosit is the Question.

And I'll be the patron saint of annoying nations that don't make sense and piss everyone off. :p

There wasn't a war because we all went and started our own games. This set the trend of openended GMing, until IOT had spread out to such a point it merited its own subforum.

I insisted on using the brand name, because, well, do I need to explain why? :p

Regardless, IOT V is something I use as a point of reference for the perils of detailed tech trees and co-GMship. Also an example of how minimal roleplay can damn a game; monotonous orders are something to be avoided most certainly. The practice of rewarding roleplay was a genius innovation.

As for co-GMs, I shall have a co-GM in Ailedhoo for MP4, but if it doesn't work well, I think I'll be laying the concept to rest. As it stands it looks like these kinds of games work best with one person running everything. :(

Joint operations can work as will the Great Three prove. Anyway success will depend on not just on who is the sub GM but on the mechanics the GMs have to work with.

Anyway: I look forward to sub-GM!

I have doubt of the validity of the idea that the supposed Great Three are working on something big.

I have utmost respect for all 3 of them as the best GMs but I think that Ailed and Nedim's claims are just a ridiculous extension of an enjoyable joke.
And if this is Heresy then so be it... But it is the truth.
