Don't step on my Island!

I took off with my laptop but forgot the IP for this game. Can someone please PM it to me?

Hi.

I'm afraid that I might crashed the game... :mischief:
...and I know what caused that. I wrote a long message (long = more then one screen) via diplomacy to Slaze, after I clicked "offer trade" my game have crushed and probably so did the server. After that I wasn't able to log in again (I connected to the host, but nothing happens after that), so I conclude that the civ on the server had crashed too. Sorry...

Same thing happened to me a turn ago. Maybe spending 45+ mins in a diplo screen is hard for the system. It seemed to crash right about when I hit send as well. Anyway, we'll move on from that media as our primary diplo.

Hmmm... it's not about time, it's about the lenght of the message. Same thing happens in other multiplayer gamemodes - for example PBM, but there only your game crushes. In PitBoss not only yours but also the server (probably).

Can we please use the pause function to make sure no one misses a turn on the reload?

Ok, it's about 9h and 30m til the end of the current turn and I must do it now or else I will not be able to play ealier then tomorow evening (about 16-18h from now) - so if I will wait I will lost my move in this turn. Problem is that in this move I will attack bbp who from what I observed didn't move last turn and didn't perfotm current turn yet either. I don't want to be accused of using "double move" but like I wrote above I must perform my turn now.

Can play in 1-1.5 hrs. You were behind me last turn. Can you wait that long? I guess I can't really demand it, so go ahead if it's really a problem.

The double move by Classical Hero to start a war was kinda cheesy....just sayin!

I guess one could say I missed my turn on the 10th, not sure how, just been real busy. But he sure was quick to log in after the turn roll....

Did the war started during year 700AD?
I would like the opinion of other players to make this point clear in the rules: if the defender hasn't played during the first turn of the war, do the attacker assume that he plays second in the following turns?

BTW, I am away until sunday, so a reload could not happen before that date, sorry...

I don't know when the war started, but if it was at the 2nd part here it's clearly unsporting at best. Move at the end of turn and then immediately log in to declare at the start of next. If it's not against the rules it should be implemented.
Code:
8/11/10 7:17 am classical_hero Logged out
8/11/10 7:15 am classical_hero Finished turn
8/11/10 7:09 am classical_hero Logged in
8/11/10 7:05 am A new turn has begun. It is now 720 AD
8/11/10 5:33 am slaze Logged out
8/11/10 5:31 am slaze Finished turn
8/11/10 5:28 am slaze Logged in
8/11/10 4:14 am classical_hero Logged out
8/11/10 4:14 am classical_hero Finished turn
8/11/10 4:08 am classical_hero Logged in

And if it was the turn before it's a normal double move, but that's covered in the rules already.

That is how it happened. :(

It is OK, I took over from someone else who started pretty weakly. I will dedicate the rest of this game to making his life miserable! ;)
