Only thing I am confused about is why people like you exist making comments on others as if your comments and postings are always correct and just? Yet, I feel the joke falls on you. The game still needs SERIOUS patching. Hopefully if more people are serious about getting that new patch we should all pull together pool all the problems and wade through which is real to be included in the next patch.
I am amazed on what has been left out of this game. To that fact I am hoping that things that are cool in the game can be made to work. There are as many problems left in the game even with the patch as there are people like you making comments on others posts. We all paid for the damn game we all have a right to post what is wrong. I admit maybe I have been more negative then I should have. I personally have reasons, I am in bad health and games are my only gateway of any enjoyment. Particularly turn based games that I can keep pace with. When I found so many problems with the game I freaked because I had depended on the game being great out of the box. I am sorry for my own negative posts but people trying to make fun of others is just not called for at least in my opinion. How about just keeping the comments to yourself and stick to the topic of the thread, okay? Peace!

Well i am really trying hard to think this game has problems, because i tend to think all the people that have had patch problems, really should either blame their system or their own ability to execute the patch properly. I say this simply because i have never had any problem, not one crash, the late game speed is fast, If i never saw this forum i wouldn't even know the game had anything wrong with it.

So having said that, i think you guys give firaxis a lot more **** than they deserve since most people probably don't even have a problem with performance.

As for the EE comments, well again it just proves "each to their own", i have EE and really tried to like it, but as someone on this thread recently said, it is just an AOE cloan extended. I find it very boring and have no interest in it at all. Same goes for CIV III now actually, boed crazy with it, but still rate it the best game ever, soon to be over taken by Heroes IV. CIV II was the best game ever, but whether you are trying your best to trash CIV III or not, CIV II has been superceded by CIV III.

Indeed! No one should be loading v1.16f at this point, anyway. Only install the latest version (v1.29f) for Civ3. It contains all the bug fixes of the previous versions.
