Jarkko: If this ship doesn't get free fairly soon, we most likely wont be leaving. Besides Birch, getting this ship up and running is one of the reasons we are out here to begin with.
Methinks we should get everyone not either holding the bridge on infirmary organized to take engineering. Like Alexandrov said, the enemy most likely knows we are here, and if they don't, we should act as if they do so we don't make mistakes. A possible way of taking out a good portion of the enemy is forcing several of them out of the room and into the hallway, where an ambush could be set. Also, during the assault, securing a prisoner might be a good idea. I'd be personally willing to beat some information out of him.

What gets me is: why haven't the alleged 200 armed terrorists tried to capture the bridge as it was gaurded only by 3 people. Also, they had the entire population of the ship under control. Why did they barricade themselves on the lower levels? If the assumed control of the ship, no suspicion would arrise for some time. Thier inaction gave the owner reason to send an elite team of armed mercinaries onto the ship. Why would they willingly provide such a reason if it was within thier power to stal for a few weeks? Hostages imply that they either don't wish to be disterbed in a task they are preforming or that they wish to make some sort of demands. If it was the former, why not take the bridge and stall to give themselves enough time to do what ever they are doing. If it is the later, why haven't they taken the bridge in order to contact the people they wish to make demands of?

Jarkko: I honestly doubt all 200 of those crew members are all hostiles. I have a hunch the hostiles are around the same strength as we are, if not a little stronger. I think it is safe to say there are no more than fifty of them.

@All I definitely think we should try to take engineering (says the guy staying back in the infirmary). Is it possible that we could lure the enemy out and take them out group by group? We could also mislead them. If they know we're here, we could try to misinform them of our numbers and location. But then again, maybe they don't know we're here, and the whole file deletion was some sort of freaky coincidence.

Josip and I will form a recon team to find out exactly what's going on in the lower decks as we are the only two out of the people currently assaulting who have both their primary and secondary weapons suppressed. I would prefer to have more men in the recon team but I'm happy to work with what I've got. The new assault team, Golf, is to remain on standby to come and bail us out if we get in too much trouble but we should be able to avoid that. We will try and get as deep as we can without getting caught. As for enemy patrols. Suppressors exist for a reason, that's why point will always be someone with a suppressed weapon and a good aim.
I am well aware of the fact that the enemy knows we are on this ship. However that does not mean we have lost the element of surprise, especially if the enemy is as numerous and elite as some of us suspect. They would not expect an all-out assault by an inferior force, which still gives us the edge if we can seize that initiative.
All of us have to accept we have two options: bug out, condemn the civilians on this ship to whatever fate the aggressors have in store for them, not get paid and maybe lose our jobs. Or we can do what we are paid and trained to do, namely the "impossible". We scout out the enemy and then assault their positions, win back operational control of this ship and get her back to port before she gets stuck. I suppose actually there is a third option, which is to argue about this all day until the ice freezes over anyway.
So we need to make a decision as a team. Do we recon the lower decks and assault or do we bug out? Those are the only two options we have right now."

@ All teams: Well mates, I'm at a loss as to why the enemies were taking specific individuals hostage. Based on my results it isn't due to fame. So along with the fact that they haven't released any demands, I think it is safe to say the terrorists aren't in this to make a lot of money. Why are they here then?
