Can someone please briefly explain all this Alpha and Beta stuff to me? It would be much aprreciated. I know a beta is an unifinished mod, but almost ready for release or something. Whassa Alffa, den, eh?

My difinition: Alpha is a very unfinished product. Beta is a product that is finished, but still has many bugs to be fixed and tweaks to be made.

The only required tech in the military tech tree is hunting. After discovering that, the religion/government and the infrastructure tech trees are made available. The magical arts tree is available after the discovery of education.

I have decided to preview a new ingame screenshot for all those waiting for this mod. All said, alpha testing is extra close now...just need to tweak some stuff and package it up. Looks like this initial alpha will suck up almost 1/2 a Gig of hard drive space

Yes, the drow will get their own flavor...cause they are SO different than everyone else
And yes, alas, the archers are not drow colored. Just not enough drow specific units around...

All my previous requests (for new orc units) have so far gone upon deaf ears. Anyways, I would love it if someone would convert the Driders from infinitum as well as the 2 drow units.
