Duel (and Dual too) NESing

I'd be in any scenario preferably The Franco-Prussian War. But anything will work :)

I'm up for a duel if anyone is interested. I would prefer a duel from within the Gunpowder age over anything else. Something from ABNW or TWTUD would be good. :)

En garde! I accept your challenge. What say you to Barbarossa?

Yes I will accept Circuit's duel.

Hows about the Punic wars? If not then a WW3 type Cold War would be good too.

Is anyone interested in taking France+TAP in a war of the Second Union duel? It would start right before the first year of the war (as in after all the initial war-declaring but before the entry of some belligerents into the war).

I'll accept such a deal.:D

If you read my earlier post, I asked for an alternate history: a Cold War between the two superpowers, the USA and Nazi Germany (the Nazis won the war that the US never joined, and they both have nukes). I'd prefer to play the Nazis.

Sweet! Ready to start whenever you are; good luck! Hopefully I'll be able to woo all those neutral countries over to my side :p.

One quick comment: the US wasn't the decisive factor in WWII, like it was in WWI; the USSR was; arguably Hitler's decision to not attack Moscow when he could've was the most decisive event of the war.

Matt and quoo appear to have the first confirmed duel then: The War of the Second Union from the original A Brave New World. I'll have a waiting list on the first page and the actual thread will be up shortly.

The US didn't join WWI till the end, so militarily, it wasn't the decisive factor there (but it was the arms-dealer of the Entente). And I'm sure that Hitler would have loved it if the US had not fought Germany. But for the NES, it matters less what happened so much as the end result: Germany and the US are rival superpowers.

before we get things underway with our first duel, here's the proposed battle map for the combatants approval. We will be underway by tomorrow evening.

Since we have Justo and Crezth confirmed to a map, they'll be second after Matt and qoou in the War of the Second Union. I will send out a private message when your turn is up.

Accepted. How about me representing the forces of Communism and you representing the Fascists? (We'll keep our ABNW line up) :)

It's a deal! Fur die Vaterland!

I'll accept as America for Alt history Cold war dual.

I would be quite happy to take on any scanario provided I'm given a day or so to look up the histories and background information of each nation. For starters I think it would probably be best to go with one of EQ's scenarios since stats and maps are already created and we can get the first duel up and running quickly. Then after we've seen how they work move towards creating other scenarios.

Do you accept my challenge then? I'll give you the day.

I'm happy to accept that as well NWAG provided EQ allows players to queue up multiple duels. I thought that you were just asking EQ if an ABNW Franco-German war scenario was possible. :)

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, in this corner, we have the diabolical demon, the master of manipulation, the czar of combat, the...warlord of warfare, the one, the only TLJ! Who among you are brave enough to face this monster in the ring, one on one? Taking all comers!

Number of teeth when entering the ring may differ from number post fight. Side effects include dizziness, nausea, hurt pride, and a deflated sense of self worth. Void where prohibited.
