Gamestop in midtown Manhattan: they tell me they'll get it the 26th. I'm glad I wussed out and didn't cancel my Amazon order, I think... it hasn't shipped yet.
alancsilver said:Well, a bunch of us received this same email. Yet, it stills remains a mystery as to when the game will arrive at the store. I am optimistic that the email message was sent after the game was shipped and that it will be at the store today.
But that i me being very optimistic me thinks![]()

If this works, you must be much better looking than I am. Somehow, the line "Hey, baby, I'm just waiting for my computer game" has never been very effective for me...
Methos said:Out of curiosity, which company is the dominant one? I worked for a company that merged with another and everything was supposed to be equal between the two.Yeah, right.
Sorry for the off topic.

I have heard of people getting a game that day but it is very, very rare. So when the "release date" was placed on 10/25 it means most places will have it on the next day 10/26, like ebgames or gamespot. If you are really unlucky it won't get there until 10/27. I don't know why they tell people like last week telling us civ IV will be out 10/25. Really they should say 10/26. But watch any forum of a new game that has hit its "release date" and you see everyone saying they won't get thier copy till the next day....Anyways, just thought I 'd put this out there if it has not been said. They do it to torture game addicts
