As a french native speaker, she definetely doesn't speak modern french, I was trying to figure out what she was saying and it sounded like... roman ?kinda odd
I also really like how she synergizes with France. Conquering the world without violence, but through the charms of a Disney Princess is certainly a novelty
The spy bonus from CdM always seemed a bit unrelated to the other bonuses France has.
I do feel that England loses too much without Pax Brittanica. It somehow cuts the colonization theme in half, and RND's are much weaker without free units.
"Workshop of the world" should probably have been Victoria's bonus, so that the naval theme is fully kept when Eleanor leads Britain.
The only early game advantage of England is its additional iron which might be handy for swordsmen & knight armies, apparently also for upgrades. I can't yet judge the importance of that, but until now iron was very scarce. I also feel having a half cost harbor is not bad, because it provides you with gold, which can speed up anything else you might do - including maintaining & upgrading a good army. I can't judge yet the ability to build railroads or additional bonuses to powered buildings, but since this comes late in the game, it is probably more RPGish & less important for a fast win.
She has the best character model in Gathering Storm in my opinion. Looks like Alexander with hair similarities. It is going to be horrible near her in a Dark Age. Luckily she has no bomuses towards warfare in either incarnation so that would be the best case to wipe her off the map before she starts flipping your cities.
Found a religion, get Cathedrals. Build Holy Sites and Theatre Districts in every city. 7 total GS in city seems doable for -7 loyalty in nearby cities of other civs. More if you have music and/or wonders. Combine the GW pressure from 2 cities and flipping cities seems doable. Especially if you add in spies and entertainment districts.
I kinda wish they had kept England's British Museum ability. Sure, it would have been OP but it would have synergized so well with Eleanor's ability and it would have been super fun to basically flip cities with archaeologists.
My thoughts on Eleanor, overall a great leader, but you will need to have some testing to see if the Great Works bonus actually makes a big difference in-game

Remember Linda Carter’s TV Wonder Woman? Eleanor’s transformation is definitely more magical and barbiesque. Definitely digging her, however, and she does look lovely indeed.
Looking forward to playing as her with France mainly. But looking back, I’m in agreement that there is a let down that we didn’t get an outright science Civ. I know that there are new civs introduced that can utilize their particulars for a science victory, but not explicitly. If this a sign for a third mostly science focus expansion, so be it. This one has definitely focused on culture, diplomacy and open civs. Maybe they’re compensating for Korea.
Another interesting tact for an alt American science leader would be using perhaps FDR, with an ability to gain GS points for attracting Great Scientists when at war with other countries. This would depict the immigration of Einstein, von Braun, etc...
But it might seem strange to have both Roosevelts as leaders while ignoring all other Presidents and founding fathers.
Because there hasn't been a Civ with a Science focus in GS now. Half the Civs are focused towards Culture but none towards Science, that is imbalanced.
Welll, if "science focus" equates to a "here's some blue icons" ability, then I guess so, but I don't think excelling at science requires such a ham-handed approach. Cultural victory requires tourism, a resource specific to the victory condition. Science is as ubiquitous as a resource gets.
If you can excel at producing districts or buildings or settlers, you can excel at science. We have GS civ's that are good at those things.
