EltNES: THIS World is Yours

Update I:IX
An experiment: Climate layer placed under the ocean.

Spoiler :
twymapturn09.png

A9-A11 - Hills burrow up from the vast, flat landscape between the mountains and the plain, and the first frigid waters of the east have drained down from the newly forming mountains.

C4-D4 - The world's first Elephants, or more specifically Wooly Mammoths have their birthing grounds in the land of the grain, protected by the rather wide northern rivers from predators.

E7 - The horses have finally migrated out of the frigid north, and their population has spread throughout the Mediterannean basin in the southwest.

E10-F11 - The precious metals of the world ripped from the hills on the eastern islands, promising a powerful existance to its future inhabitants. Probably.

F1-G3 - The highest density of food resources in the entire world can be found on these small islands, perhaps the result of a volcano long ago spewing mineral rich ash into the world?

F7 - Perhaps the most mineral rich region in the world where the mountains meet the many waters. Coal and metal have exploded forth from the ground

G5-G7 - The world's first deserts formed here and now, semi-arid along the coasts of the central sea.

H4-J4 - The mighty Moa bird first found its way into the world here, despite the many dangers of being trapped in Tar pits in the north, or choking on the fume of the mountain caves in the south.

L1-L2 - A series of islands peaked out of the ocean, attracting fish and life-bringing rains, winds and seeds.

Spoiler OOC :
Mod's Choice: Moldath! That is the kind of selfless world building for the sake of building, not just your own little region.

20 points: Terrance888
20 points: Gem Hound

OOCs

TerrisH: the 1 point was not enough to cover the whole area with climate, so I banked it for you.

Boundless: You couldn't afford everything you wanted, so I opted to spend so you could have the most.

Terrance888: Absolutely no dice boxing by me, I told you the Dice Gods wouldn't screw you over twice!

Erebody: Once more, no one has even attempted to point out my favorite of the rules. The bounty has increased to 4 points. (One guess per turn.)

All: Next update is our 10th. On mod whim, we have arrived at the 1d20 turn early, so that we may have the possibility of finishing with the 10th! Boo hiss some of you say, while others do not bother ever reading my OOC comments at all! Those who do not shall surely suffer from the rule changes mentioned only here the past few updates. Sad. MOAR POINTS FOR EVERYONE!

Special news bulletin: Moar points for Some. :'(

TerrisH, nutranurse and Lord of Elves were hit hardest by this year's D20 bailouts. PM Dice Gods is unable to comment at this time, though we have exclusive interview with their secretary, Eltain.

"Sucks."

There you have it, straight from the secretary's mouth itself, 'Sucks.', everybody!

Next update Saturday Yo

That looks better to be honest. :)

:~C The dice hate me

11 Points for a large freshwater late ringed with lots of little valleys at the junction between E8/9 and F8, with more edging in E8. The 4 extra points are for the little extra pieces this might or might not steal.

4 for the other half of the island of J7 with a rather formidable mass at J8, with some land at the K8/9 edge for a possible peninsula later. The coast shall be smoother, with sandbar style islands.

3 for hills on J7, making ridgelines extending into the islands in the straights.

Total spent: 18

Thanks!

4 Points for a large freshwater late ringed with lots of little valleys at the junction between E8/9 and F8, with more edging in E8. It will be between two arms of the Hills there Gemhound made.

TerrisH: Because of Terrance's generosity, you have 2 more points to spend.

Lord of Elves: Okay.

merciary: Excellent!

General Olaf: Coolios. I might have to extend this one more turn, darn :0

Boundless: You fiend!

10 points.

1 point: climate: semi-arid in K5-K6.

3 points: fill out the hills in D9-C10.

3 points: hills in F1, replacing some of the mountains there.

3 points: hills lining the mountains on the southern continent.

Wait, so you badger us that we have not done anything like that, yet you then purposefully spend your own money to counter it? WTFGODMODDBBQ?

If you don't want us to do that, fine, say so in the rules. I'll spend my money in a much more boring way, plonking resources all over my bit of the map

So I can't use my points to snipe, but you can?
