This is a new laborer: the engineer. Better than normal one (fast worker), available with mass production?

Nice job Rufus!
I'll use this to replace the modern worker.

heh heh heh ... I've just found my new POW graphics!

There are no files called 'engineer' in the Civ program directory, except one of the scenarios.

Where exactly do I insert the files for the 'engineer' (and 'engineerforest')? And do any files need to be backed up prior to inserting those files?

Thank for anyone's help! :goodjob:

Well if Goldflash doesn't like it I LOVE it. It can go into my zombie scenario as a "chainsaw maniac". Does it come with sounds?

You can do one of several things. You can create an Engineer unit using the CivEditor. Or you can make this a modern worker. If you want this for a modern worker, you should put these files in the Worker Modern Era folder in the units folder and change the INI file to recognize the new FLCs.

YAY! Chainsaw!

Is this the same worker with a new forest clearing flc or are all the terrainforming jobs have new graphics? I can't remember what the original worker looks like (I don't play civ hardly at all).

Similar, but not equals. Shirt is not era-specific, and he has also his helmet. For terraforming action, I can't remove shovel, because it is also on default. For jungle, I have thinked on flamethrower, but not too appropriate to marsh. I have in mind to do pneumatic hammer for mining, but this day I have completed Galileo.

Hello Rufus ! Your unit looks great !! But I can't download it because I have not a "ace" reader ... Is it a free program ? If so where can I find it ?
Could you make a zip ? It's a pity not to download this great unit !!

As I have already said (#6), use WinAce. I use ace files because their compression is better, you can decide which dictionary use (ah, zip-whelch algorithm!)
