Enhanced User Interface v1.30m

Sorry, but communication is the responsibility of the communicator.

There is no way to purchase a building which is currently in queue, while it's possible in vanilla interface. For Venice it can be a deal breaker.

This is the entire quote. It says "Here's a condition that's generally problematic. Here's a specific instance within that which is a deal breaker." You are a human. You have the capacity for error. If all you wanted to talk about was Venice, there's less ambiguous ways of accomplishing this.

I don't usually play Venice, but I did once and EUI was in place. I don't recall having any issues. Normally I'd fire the game up and test it out for my own information's sake as well as helping others. Since you're such a kind and realistic fellow though, I can't seem to be bothered.

Strigvir's original statement was perfectly understandable. There is no shame in admitting you made a mistake and overlooked a critical part of their post, but there is plenty of making yourself look like a condescending douche in your attempt at deflecting blame at Strigvir for your own misunderstanding.

I'd also love to see an option to buy buildings that are in the construction queue, especially when playing with whoward's Global - Pro-rata Buildings Purchase (buildings are getting cheaper when you already built a part of them through production).
At the moment you have to cancel them before you even know how much it would cost to finish them.

Is it possible to include whoward's Condensed Promotions as default? It is outdated now and not compatible with latest eui. I think it suits the aims&features of the mod pretty well.

And this!

So, I'm trying to get the EUI DLC working on a Linux machine. Placed the DLC files for the mod in the DLC directory, but it doesn't recognize the DLC. I'm kinda at a loss.

I've searched a ton, but can't find an answer - any help?

Where can I download older versions? The newest seem to conflict with info addict, adding awkward "check infoaddict" button middle of minimap as many have reported.

And I also dont like the unitframe going horizontal instead of vertical, which was not an issue in earlier versions it seems

Edit Info Addict's .modinfo file to replace "InGameUIAddin" with "DiplomacyUIAddin".

I've already shared a link to 1.26 (think it was on page 102). I don't think this is before the horizontal unit action icons, but whether those are vertical or horizontal doesn't matter.

And where is exactly this "modinfo" file? i cant find it

Hi all!

Is there any possibility to have the tile yields display next to the minimap (like vanilla) instead of the tooltips right next to the cursor?

I dont like the mouseover tooltips, and would much rather prefer to always see the tile yield of the tile under the mouse cursor in the corner of the screen.

Also prepared to dig into the lua if necessary to modify this - thanks for any hints :)

is there some bug you're aware of with this mod and the mongol scenario? i dusted off that scenario and found that there is no unit information on the bottom left... its just completely blank.

ATTENTION USERS OF INFOADDICT

I've released a DLC modpack of InfoAddict and Neblet's Diplomacy Values here. No longer will you have to experience the bug or use the mod menu to launch InfoAddict. Before you start your next game, delete the InfoAddict you're using and put this modpack in your Assets\DLC folder. If you used the "delete LeaderHead" module workaround, you can now use EUI in its entirety again.

Thanks to cicero225 for facilitating the Multiplayer Mod Workaround mod that makes this conversion possible. Also thanks to reddit's Nalkor for pointing out the easy fix to IA that eliminates the problem.

[EDIT]
By the way, this fix also seems to fix the issue where InfoAddict caused Civ 5 to crash frequently during reloads and exits.

I saved it to that folder and unzipped it with 7zip, but it's not showing up in game. Was there something else I was supposed to do?

Did you start a new game? Are you using other modpacks?

No, I continued my existing game. When I finish it, I'll start a new one and see what happens.

I'm having an Issue with EUI and have been for some time with it on my Windows laptop.

Simply put, whenever I put the UI_bc1 file in the DLC folder of the Civ V program, launching the game then causes the game to crash. I've tried moving each of the modules in and out of the program, but I always get the CTD before the main menu appears.

There are three things in the folder that seem to be the issue, called EUI_0.Civ5Pkg, EUI_1.Civ5Pkg, and EUI_2.Civ5Pkg. I say that they seem to be the issue because when I remove them from the folder, it prevents the CTD, but also prevents the EUI mod from working. I don't know if these files are important/intentional, since there are .Civ5Pkg files in the official DLC files.

What is going on?

@SkipperXIV: This doesn't happen if you have Civ5+EUI. I would bet you're experiencing a conflict with another mod. You should list what mods you're using. Also don't forget to check the mods compatibility section of the opening post.

Please let me know how it goes. I mostly made this for my own benefit, but released it for others in case it would suit them. If there turns out to be a problem with a simple fix, I'd like to make that fix.

Any input guys? I have tried editing the LUAs directly, trying to use the original

Controls.Text:SetText( tip );

instead of the modded

g_controlsTheBox:SetToolTipString( tip )

hoping that it would put the enhance tooltip in the "old" box where I want it, but no luck so far...

Help please :)

I'm confident it's not a mod conflict bug. First of all, the CTD happens BEFORE the main menu, as in, before I can even select any mods or start a game. Second, I moved all of the mod files temporarily out of the mods folder and the CTD still occurred. I think there's either something wrong with my installation (of Civ V) or computer.

How do I change the city view's production list/popup to organize by turns to complete instead of alphabetically?
