Enhanced User Interface v1.30m

Hello bc1,

first of all, this is an AMAZING dlc, thanks for all your effort here! I'm using it together with a few mods and playing it multiplayer using MPMPM - Multiplayer Mod DLC-hack (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=533238). This really works well!

Still, I have a few suggestions:

There are two features in the City View for Notebooks (BNW) (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=207165840) that I'd love to have in EUI. Both are on the right side of the city screen:

a) The small list to select the city focus (general, food, production, ...), a single line of icons is enough.

b) Also the aggregated list for the specialists without the selection of the actual building is brilliant. It takes less space and is all there is to know about specialists - who cares if a workshop or a factory has a specialist?

Also,

c) please put the production of a city back to the top left block, right under the food. It would be ok if displayed at the top and at the bottom where it is at the moment (although in my case the production is not shown at all and only visible as tooltip, but I guess this is because I have other mods as well. I did see it there once).

d) On the main screen where the units are displayed: The list is to long to really make sense as soon as you have more than 10 units or so. Here are a few ideas:
- Only show units that are sleeping or fortified ( these are the ones you tend to forget to move) and all workers
- Group all units as to their type and task and a number next to it. This could be useful to spot obsolete units.
- Only show workers and their tasks

e) Is it possible to show in the tech tree which wonders are still available (mark the already built wonders with a red cross or so)?

what popups are you referring to ? could you give the time in Ireland playthrough part 10/11 at which the problem occurs ?

From part 9 (not 10) and part 11, the next 20 secs should show the bug. Going into city view, looking over the buildings, choosing construction and then some building popup sticking around.

Grouping units by their type is already implemented. ;)
Check the [>>>] button on the bottom-left.

Click on the [>>>] button below the unit list, and select which unit types to display (the possibility to filter units by activity is not implemented)

yes, that would be possible

thanks for the details. It seems to be the same bug which recent EUI version 1.24d is supposed to fix, if you care to check

this has been asked before, same answer: I play Civ with a 2540 monitor, and do not need to cram all of the building icons in a small space. If you wish to make an EUI mod mod for tiny screens, by all means please do so !

Please note that item c) of mallock's list (reenabling the display of a city's production in the top left) actually needs (somewhat) more space and therefore *is* suited for larger monitors. I'd also like to see this feature (again) in EUI.

I think that carriers got messed up in the latest patch.

- First , can you add Condensed Promotions for next EUI update : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=528218
it's possible, you're welcome to make an EUI mod mod if you like :sheep:
suggestion: trade your excess luxuries for cash, the purpose of the civ ribbon is to help you do just that ;)

I'm pretty sure that is an artifact of transferring aircraft FROM carriers to another location. Clicking on the carrier brings it back into view.

This has been around for quite some time, from before I discovered EUI.

I had a short look at the differences in cityview.lua from version c to d. :O
It is much more work than I thought. Amazing that you still have the overview (know what you are doing). :)

have you correctly installed version 1.24d ? the files are not compatible with previous version 1.24c or any derivative thereof (mods), don't mix & match. Otherwise I would need lua.log & save game to investigate (plus whether you are using small or regular UI assets)

most of the modifications have nothing to do with this issue, it's only a half dozen lines of LUA code + another half dozen XML

Delete the contents of your cache folder and restart civ 5.

I have "automatically size interface" @ 1920x1080 resolution.

I did a full install after removing the old version. deleted cache. Just to make sure, I did it again and this time also deleted moduserdata (not sure if this was necessary). Same problem.

I have "automatically size interface" @ 1920x1080 resolution.

I did a full install after removing the old version. deleted cache. Just to make sure, I did it again and this time also deleted moduserdata (not sure if this was necessary). Same problem.
That looks like the bugged beta 1.24d I put up in post #1330: please make sure to download and use the 1.24d (non-beta) version from the "official" download page.

When I hover my cursor over land nothing comes up. I’ve seen in some videos that a little info box will come up telling me about what my cursor is over. For example I put my cursor over some iron nothing comes up when I let the cursor sit on top of it.
 
I installed the mod as instructed, and made sure that all the mods were compatible. However, when I started a game, most of the features of the mod were not functioning. The only one that was working was the tooltip which names improvements to tile yields. No other advertised features were present. Furthermore, in the upper-right corner, there were no buttons present other than the diplomacy menu, which did not function. Finally, I found that I was completely unable to initiate any production in my cities, preventing me from playing the game.
 
Is the compatibility with windows 8.1 improved already? Would I be able to play this normally? (Pc, so no touch/tablet)
