Europe in 2002

   excellent, me ribs be tickling:goodjob:

I thought you might want to see this attachment, archer, it's from an icons file I did for a Euro scenario that I never really got started on...

Looking forward to the scenario... :goodjob:

The flag tile is too strong in colours, I think it needs to be worked on, and I'm not entirely sure about the other two alterations. But if you like them, then it's ok! :goodjob:

You just have to right click on the attached picture and select copy. Then open the Icons.bmp and choose "Paste" from the Edit Menu or press CTRL+V. Then you just move it to its right position by clicking on it and dragging it where you want it. It has to be positioned perfectly or it won't work.
But, of course, you can send it to me at mrlc@europe.com if you want, and I'll do it for you! :goodjob:

Pas de quoi. :)
The icons were placed in the correct order as they were. It just had to be moved down. The background colour was different, but that is easily fixed. Besides, MS Paint is perfectly suitable for editing these files. When you have done the first versions of any image files, then you can just select "Save" and it will save it in the format that was used previously, thereby making it unnecessary to choose 256 colours and formats...
But here it is in zipped format. :goodjob:

Statue of Liberty - European Constitution (?) a future wonder to symbolise the actual political unity of Europe, thereby giving the advantages of the Statue of Liberty

Any progress? :goodjob:

I suggest not using the tech system at all. Just use it to give the civs different designated units and trigger them through the events etc. Building a tech tree is difficult, time-consuming, and all-in-all it doesn't make that much difference whether there is a tech tree or not...

insurgent, i think you right on this. Now that you bought it up, their's three reasons.

1)City Size and Trade in Modern Error would make you finish tree to quickly.
2)Would sway tech advantage to civs that dont realizily have a chance at gaining a tech lead.
3)Too much time would be needed.

Exactly! :goodjob:

I did that in my scenarios, have a look at them if you want to see my method...

insurgent, ive played on of your scenarios one, i think it was about israel or something middle eastern. quite good i might add. have played any of the other ones. im now trying to think of some units. i got about 2/3 of them ready, but i just cant figure out what to put for the rest. what kind of planes and armor does germany, poland, and spain use. could someone post some unit art for them.
