Since the last one has been locked, lets see if we can finally get some evidence for creationism.

In short: There does not seem to be any.

Pages in a deeply flawed, spiteful and proved wrong book Vs Science

Domination, that's not even slightly amusing. You'd scream blue murder if we tried that sort of thing with you, so don't do it yourself.

Well, his quote was "Pages in a deeply spiteful and proven wrong book" VS Science. That proves that Useless isn't an evolutionist.

When people make claims like Useless just did, I am going to twist them. If he had actually made a serious point trying to prove Evolution, I would not have done so, but that was just silly.

@Chukchi- That's awesome! :goodjob:

I agree with the classification.

Okay, in the interest of provoking actual discussion, is there anyone here who actually believes Noah rode around in a boat, taking care of two of every animal and all that?

I think I've seen the Bible put under fiction somewhere...

Either that or near the spiritual New Age stuff.

Yep, and proud of it!

@Haseri- Yet everyone agrees the Bible has quite a bit of historical fact in it, so that makes no sense. Not everyone agrees that Darwin's book is fact.

[Yep, and proud of it! /QUOTE]

Personally I'm more proud of.. say, reasonable beliefs, logical conclusions and supporting evidence which validates a given point.

But all their own I suppose...

More likely it's a borrowed Sumerian myth.

Does anyone really believe that Thor was able to lift Jormugandr the Midgard Serpent?

EDIT: There may have been an ark and a Noah, but the specifics are suspect.

Historical fiction is still fiction.

Yep, and proud of it!

Once again. How did they fit all the species of animals on the boat? I don't even think Noah could have fit all the species of animals we haven't discovered yet, let alone all the ones we have.

And those people are morons.

I heard they found the remains of Noah's Ark somewhere in Turkey, and that the only way to see it is by satellite.

That's a lie.

Well, when I went into my local Emmaus, they had a copy of Darwin's book in the Nature & Geology section. That anecdote is just as binding as Chukchi's one.
