Napol%C3%A9on_VI_Louis.jpg

Spoiler :
He was born in Brussels, Belgium, due to the law which then banned heirs of the former French ruling dynasties from residing in France. He was the son of Victor, Prince Napoléon and his wife Princess Clémentine of Belgium, daughter of King Leopold II of the Belgians and Archduchess Marie Henriette of Austria. Leopold II's mother, Princess Louise-Marie of Orléans, was the eldest daughter of King Louis Philippe I, ruler of France during the July Monarchy.

As a child, Prince Louis spent some time in England where he stayed with Empress Eugénie, the widow of Napoleon III. He was educated in Leuven in Belgium and Lausanne in Switzerland. His father died on 3 May 1926, and so Prince Louis succeeded as the Bonapartist claimant to the French throne at the age of 12 with his mother acting as regent until he came of age.

On the outbreak of World War II Prince Louis wrote to the French prime minister, Édouard Daladier, offering to serve in the French Army. His offer was refused so he assumed the nom de guerre of Louis Blanchard and joined the French Foreign Legion, seeing action in North Africa before being demobilised in 1941 following the Armistice. He then joined the French Resistance and was arrested by the Germans after attempting to cross the Pyrenees to get to London to join Free French leader Charles de Gaulle.

Following his arrest he spent time in various prisons including Fresnes. Following his release, he joined the French Resistance group Organisation de Résistance dans l'Armee under the name Louis Monnier. Another member of the Charles Martel Brigade to which he belonged was his cousin, Prince Joachim Murat who was killed in July 1944. Prince Louis himself narrowly escaped death a month later when, on 28 August, he was badly wounded as part of a seven man patrol which came under attack: he alone survived. Following his recovery he joined the Alpine Division and was later decorated for bravery.

After the war, he lived in Switzerland and, illegally, in Paris until 1950 when the law of banishment against the heads of France's former ruling dynasties was repealed. However, from then on he held great resentment to the French for suppressing him after he served for them. This is when he took the secret vow to take over France and once again lead it to greatness.

In his professional life, Prince Louis became a successful businessman with a number of financial interests in Africa. In 1951, the prince sent a memorial wreath bearing the Napoleonic 'N' insignia to the funeral of William, German Crown Prince, son of the deposed Wilhelm II, German Emperor. This was seen as an ironic gesture by royalists at the time, given the fact that it was the German House of Hohenzollern which had defeated and dethroned Louis Napoleon's own imperial house during the Franco-Prussian War in 1870.

Prince Louis is on a mission. His goal is to take over France, and once again restore the title Emperor of the French, leading the French Empire to her true place atop the world.

Starting Stats:
Yuri Semmovich / besthsot9
Origin:
Spoiler :
Yuri was born just outside of the city of Novorossiysk, Soviet Union, on the shores of the Black Sea. He had served proudly in the Soviet Army during the Great Patriotic War, and joined the party at the time. He strongly supported Comrade Stalin and after the war went to work for the NKVD. As the years went on, he was disillusioned by how soft the premiers began to seem, none able to match the leader that carried the nation to victory over the Fascist invaders. He has now left the (now) KGB to go about turning the word "communism" into something meaningful again, and believes it has been too long since the Soviet Union had a good Party purging.

This rogue agent, and now potential enemy of the state, has been spotted near Omsk, Siberia, but these sightings seem to be nothing more than unsubstantiated rumors.

@Everyone: you are doing great! :) I am missing several things, which I hope you can provide soon.

@bestshot9: please, change your stats. You can't have a Factory, it needs 30 Minions working on it and you only have 20.

David Moreau / Seon (Rich Bored Bastard)
Origin: California
-Backstory: Mr. Moreau happened to be a bastard of a guy, but he also happened to be very bored. And rich. All three characteristics merged together to turn himself into a .... a.... a rich bored bastard, I guess.

He was, of course, not always such a bastard. The only bad things that he did that he could be accused of was dodging taxes from the IRS (and who wouldn't, if they were at his place), bribing the local police department with gifts of doughnuts from his fabulously successful general stores, the Moreaus (and again, who wouldn't, if they were at his place), and pitting his employees against each other in a game of intrigue that resulted in 4 dead, 3 injured, and 5 forced to undergo sex change (wait WHAT). Indeed, he was not such a bad guy at all.

He still isn't such a bad guy. He has a charming personality, enjoys chatting with other rich bastards of the Angel City, and plays golf and polo (the bastard). It's just that he wants to take over the world.

Many have dreampt of that goal before. But only a few actually had the resources to do it.

Marla Willington/ Player (Rich Bored Bastard)
Origin- London, England
Marla was born to one of the more wealthy people in England, obviously. Her father, being a Lord and all, used is obnoxiously large nose to look down at people and get money from them through under handed tricks and mostly cheating. Lord Brandon Willington had made money by selling to the Nazi's during WW2. Helping fund the "Authentic Jew Ashes" factories that sprung up during Hitler's party years in Deutschland. Of course, like any good business man, he diversified his portfolio and sold Nazi secrets to the Allies. Not because he was a patriot, but mostly because he loved money and didn't really like sausages THAT much.

All this lovely history of greed and more greed helped raise Marla into a pretty ambivalent type of gal. Much to the fury of her father, she didn't really care about making more money, only about having fun and doing whatever the hell she wanted. But in truth Marla did care about the money, only in so much as she realized that she needed it to keep filling the void. You see the truth of the matter was that Marla is crazy. Literally. She is a sociopath, and a pretty good one, or so she would like to think. So when her father thought to cut her off, to teach her a lesson, she didn't really take it very well.

She killed him. She actually killed him herself, though no one else but her knows it. The moment she found it she just waltzed into his office and told him straight. She was tired of him being around, and then she proceeded to beat him over the head with his favorite stapler. A lovely red stainless steel tool, which hid the blood rather well. As the sole heir to his vast fortune she has kept trying to fill that void, buying this and that until it finally struck her.

The only way to fill it would be to TAKE OVER THE WORLD.

Not bad, guys :).

So far, we have:
1 Mad Scientist
1 Fanatic
2 Legacy Criminals
1 Ultra Patriot
1 Exile
2 Rich Bored Bastards
1 Border Breaker/Fanatic
1 Rogue Agent

Only 1 Double Archetype? Weird, I would have bet on more people trying to combine 2 Archetypes.

I am also wondering whether someone would be able to play the Earth Paranoid, because that would certainly give the chance to do some real fun stories...

As for continental division, we have:
Africa: 1 (Haseri, kentharu)
Asia: 1 (bestshot9)
Europe: 3 (Luckymoose, GamezRule, Prospo)
North America: 3 (merciary, bestrfcplayer, Seon)
Oceania:
South America: 1 (badunoff)

Pointing out things:
- Tomorrow at this hour, I am going to put up Update 0, which won't require any orders. Update 0 will not give any minions.
- Those that have their 20 minions busy in their fronts are not going to be able to do any missions for Update 1. You can still try to do something related to your fronts, but there is nothing else you will be able to do.
- If you don't have Strongrooms, your money will be in the bank. And it takes 1 turn to access to it for payments (although, for this first turn, I will allow maintenance to be paid from the bank).
- Most of you have 2-3 turns to start getting boatloads of money, or else you will start losing things.
- If there is some other kind of front you think you would be interested in, say so.
- Prospo: your balance right now is -54,000$/month, so you are going to start losing buildings. The only suggestion I can give you is to un-build something, so that you can, at least, not end in red numbers at the end of turn 1.
- Nuclear kid: if you want to play, create your Evil Genius soon.
- bestshot9: if you want a Front, you have to make sure that you have enough Minions to work on it.

can we have a simple order for update 0 like, put all profits from fronts into a high interest bank rather than strong room?

Update 0 needs no orders. It is only to establish the setting. It would be, so to speak, the moment in which you build your bases and the rooms. If you want to move money from the Strongroom to the bank, then you can do so, but you ain't getting anything in this turn.

I have an Earth Paranoid I was working on posting, but then lost the whole txt file I was working on so I'm retyping it.

On second thought, I'm just gonna have a barracks, strong room, and training room in the beginning.

Mister Tan/ChiefDesigner (Exile/Rogue Agent)
Origin: Singapore, Straits Settlements, United Kingdom

Backstory:

"Mister Tan" is believed to be a pseudonym of Jyu Jyun Chan, former EURO station chief in Singapore. Originally a technician at Radio Singapura, he was responsible for compiling intelligence reports during the Japanese occupation, and following the War was granted the rank of station chief in Singapore. However, he resigned his post following the outbreak of the Malayan Emergency, citing the refusal of the British to discuss decolonisation, as well as the racism and brutality directed at the Straits Chinese. Following his resignation, he is believed to have provided aid and comfort to the leftist Min Yuen, organizing their intelligence networks and resistance cells, and is thought to have masterminded both the the assassination of the Sultan of Brunei and the following Brunei Revolt.

Mister Tan is extremely opposed to the legitimate British occupation of Africa and Southeast Asia, with intimate knowledge of EURO standard operating procedure. He should be considered an extremely dangerous target, having survived three assassination attempts, the last directed by Agent Peter Pevensie.
