Executive action

The finding of unconstitutionality was not necessary to resolve that case - a bit of an overreach for the judge to go there. Obama's EO did not apply to the defendant in question. It would be like a judge saying red light cameras were unconstitutional while deciding a speeding case.

So I read the opinion of the District Judge declaring the President's actions unconstitutional. In the several pages where he discusses the unconstitutionality, he does not cite a single source of case law despite the facts that 1) there is plenty of case law out there in regards to Executive Actions and 2) typically judicial opinions (especially when declaring something unconstitutional) cite case law and other sources for support. My guess is the cites would be to Sean Hannity.

Wait, he used executive action to give employees the day after Christmas off? What kind of Muslim anti-capitalist nonsense is this!?
