Israel is denying that report.

Most of us are getting on with our lives. It's the best way to respond. If you can help those who need it, then do it, otherwise get on with it. That's what we did when 9-11 went down.aneeshm said:All of this holding up of work over a few bomb blasts sounds a bit much to us in India . Even when there was an attack on a temple ( just a few days back ) , normalcy was not even shaken except for the temple's neighbourhood . How an entire city can come to a standstill due to just a few blasts is a mystery to me . Did the blasts affect you ? If they didn't , what's the problem ? Why not go on with your life ?
Its a Western thing. We place so much importance on individuals, that just a few deaths have a great impact on us.aneeshm said:All of this holding up of work over a few bomb blasts sounds a bit much to us in India . Why not some IRA or anarchist group?
...
Rambuchan said:And Bigfatron - Although we have had plenty of bomb scares and some isolated explosions from the IRA, we have never experienced a co-ordinated, widespread attack like this one. We should drop the old "got the terrorist mug, cap and T-shirt from dealing with the IRA". Clearly such complacency has left us vulnerable.

Moderator Action: Curt: Cut it out.
Everybody: Cease pointing fingers and blaming groups/individuals until it is clear what exactly happened.
Thank you.
HAND said:Unlikely anarchist or IRA ...this is very like madrid in the style bombing .so i suppose it smore likely to be Bin laden people.
Ain't that bolding the truth! I didn't mean to call you complacent and sorry to hear of your involvement.bigfatron said:I'm not complacent, dear god how could I be today? I am just suggesting that we have some experience of involving ordinary people in preventing terror attacks.
I think you're forgetting the extent of the IRA campaign - living in London through those years I was caught up in two explosions personally, one of my employer's offices was destroyed only months after I changed jobs, hundreds of millions of pounds worth of damage caused and hundreds of lives taken.
Complacency hasn't left us vulnerable, we have always been vulnerable.
FYI, per BBC Al Quaida have just claimed responsibility, their not sure if it is genuine.
