I guess there is no help than. Eather way, I appretiate all your help.
 
I realize Foxford is not working correctly, but here is one more thing to consider:

It appears if you already have the Adventurer promotion on your unit, you will get nothing from Foxford.

Also, this unit was able to get the same result from different lairs - the one that gives Courage and Valor. Is that because Valor wears off?

Speaking of that, is Valor of ANY use in FF?

Very much so balance concerns, PLEASE use the balance thread for questions, contemplations, and general discussion or whatnot.

If you had valor at the time you got the second lair result, then that would be a bug, unless that result also provides XP, then you still gained something from it, so it is fine.

PPQ: I haven't had time to check out your save yet myself. Ideally it's something solved in patch M, but chances are it isn't :(
 
I do always get a CTD while i am trying to research "Military Strategy". I tried this research a couple of times during the game....always with the same result...CTD :sad: !

I really like the way FFH2 and the expansions are developing. Keep up the good work :goodjob: !

This event is not working correctly. I need only a Gorilla to have all the animals to build the Grand Menagerie, but the event will not let me choose any animals.

Where is the Balance Thread? I see only one specific to Jotnar.
 
Just loaded up patch M as Bannor under Sabathiel, and my initial warrior and scout have received a Giantkin Seasoned promotion. I fought a frostling which also had the promotion.

EDIT: it is turn 77 on epic speed. And looking at the promotioninfos.xml PROMOTION_JOT_SEASONED_GIANT correctly shows a requirement of PROMOTION_JOT_GIANTKIN

Yeah, I have the same problem playing a Kahdi game. It seems as if almost all of my units that I build (non-vault gate units) are starting with this promotion (all of of the AI units too...
 
for now I have set bAutoAcquire to 0 and added tech requirement to Never.

Yup - seems to be that (if you check the 'pedia list for promotions, it should break around about Giantkin, which is directly after the comment). I had already removed it earlier in the patch cycle, but it was re-added shortly before release whilst the XML was being tidied up and I didn't spot it on the commit messages. The following should solve it in anycase - single file hotfix for tonight, will be running over bug reports tomorrow and most likely compiling a Patch N to cover them. I'm back on clean up duty for a little while now - lots of new content that needs tweaking and fixing up before we look to add anything else major.

Just put on patch M and when a friend and I start a multiplayer game now it starts out of sync no matter which of us starts it. We save and restart and whoever is logging in gets failure to load. Any ideas what is up?

Just got a crash to desktop while playing as the Cuali. It happened right when I scouted Illian lands with a bird. I'm using patch M with the comment hotfix applied.

Same...CTD with a hunter's hawk.

I can click on the fly promotion/icon on the Hunter, the yellow range tiles pop up...I can move the hawk mouse pointer around, but as soon as I click...CTD.

I get a CTD while starting a new Custom Game, doesn't matter wich Map type or Civ I choose.
Patch M + Hotfix installed.
With Patch L, everything worked fine except the german language.
...Well at least the german language works again.

It's been a such great modmod so far, I'm addicted I think, keep workin' on it..... You guys rock!!

Btw: I think Ranged attack units getting way too much EXP from using the Ranged Attack, cause it only takes 15-20 shots to make them unbeatale for normal units, anyone else thinking the same?

I think I might be crazy but I cant build roads as Malakim... I just installed malakim+ but that shouldn't do anything...

Same here - no option for Malakim (or their Bedouin, at least) to build roads on any terrain. I debated teching for AV to turn evil, and then getting the UC to vote for slavery, so that my slaves could build roads for me (which then turn into Caravan routes? Do I have that right?), but it seemed like a lot of trouble for something that will probably be fixed in the next patch. ;D
