Farownes02 Revived!!!!

OOC: *starts mumbling about why his upkeep is so high and why the One True Faith isn't listed* ;)

Stop complaining about your upkeep. It will go down soon enough :p.

As for your religion I added a little description which I do not think properly describes your religion. This is why I asked you to provide a description for me like everyone else has done :).

OOC: I just don't feel comfortable if I don't complain about at least one thing every update; gives me the jitters :p

I'll write another story up during this weekend. But what's that about a temple up north? :mischief:

EDIT: I want a little thing that says how the religion is doing too! ;)

Im a bit lost as regards the nations around me, their names do not match the NPC list.

What nation is to my east (on the lake)
an what nation is to my south (we meet along the river)
An finally, is the dark grey in the top right a nation or barbs?

Ontania is to the east
The barbarians do not have a name yet just a bunch of scattered tribes.
And to the south is Ramain.

What do you mean they do not match the NPC list?

@alex, I do not know why I put a temple in there. I read something about a temple. I will fix it and add how your religion is doing even though it is obviously growing.

From: Terra Trifluentia
To: Sky Gods

185 years ago, our ancestors came to the mutual conclusion that war between our two peoples was futile and destructive to both races. This is no less true today. It has come to our attention that the peace agreement that ended the great war of old nominally expires in 15 years.

In these last generations, both our nations have thrived as never before. It would be foolish to squander this progress. We therefore wish to extend our pact of peace for at least a further 100 years. Do you agree?

To: The Curia of Terra Trifluentia
From: The Bashini Empire of the Sky Gods

We agree that the ills of war are too great to be risked. Though we hunger for new lands as any good Emperor does, we will not bring destruction to our mutual frontier. Our pact therefore be extended for another century, to be renewed then and cherished by our descendants.

Additionally, in order to cement our good relations, we should like to arrange a royal marriage between our two peoples. We offer our own daughter, with divine blood, that of Vihara. With luck, great understanding and peace shall come of this union.

What say you?

OOC: Quoting the Lord of the Rings aren't we? :p

OOC: Terra Trifluentia doesn't have a royal family, at least on the national level. Most of the clans are hereditary, but all of the actual national positions (High Priest, etc) are elected. Hmm....

From: Dux Curiae Patriarchae Terrae Trifluentiae (Leader of the College of Patriarchs of Terra Trifluentia)
To: Imperium Bashinum Caelitium Caelestium (Bashini Empire of the Heavenly Gods)

We are gladdened by your desire for peace. May there never be strife between our peoples!

We commend your desire to bring the different races descended from the Progenitor Mundi (Ancestor of Us All -- lit. Ancestor of Mankind/the Universe) closer together by ties of blood. The Curia Patriarchae has therefore invited all Filii Patriarchae (Sons/Heirs of the Patriarches) to a great competition to determine the individual most suitable to marry Vihara. In the meantime, she will be housed in comfort in Patria.

OOC: The term "what say you?" should be used more often in everyday speech.

OOC: I figured you'd make the appropriate choice. And so you did.

As for alex's comment, maybe I'm subconsciously quoting Lord of the Rings, but it's certainly not deliberate.

Orders will be sent tomorrow. Other stuff to do tonight (like sleep, maybe...).

Well I still have no orders other then Luckymoose. If you guys need more time then tell me. I will push the update back but remember it will probably not come till next weekend if I do...

To Imperial Tephen

From Keeleh
Tephen, your might, culture, wealth have always impressed the Kee people. We humbly request your aid against the despicable Oslans. Help us reclaim the extent of our lands, and eliminate their threatening existence. Keeleh will prove to be an ally of utmost importance to you in the future.

Perhaps you didn't see this, Luckymoose?

Farow, is the light area surrounding Keeleh some sort of country controlled by the Oslans or something? Any info on it?
