Update 4
3925- 3900 B.C.E.
50- 75 A.F. (Anni Frateritatis/Years of Brotherhood)
We begin our tour of the cradle with a tribe that has sunk to new levels of brutality and can only be described by one word barbaric. These people held back by a system of alliances have finally overcome them not through war but through a marriage that has brought the nation to a level of power allowing it to expand beyond the system of alliances and destroy them. The union of the tribe of Valkan and the tribe of the Vadas has brought a new force to be reckoned with in the north.
To the east of Valkan is the nation of Hylon which against all odds defeated the barbarian warlord to their north. In an act of bravery and persistence they have more then doubled their borders. The nation imposes their rule over land trying to make sure all the tribes now under their league do not betray them. None betray Hylon but many resent not being trusted by Hylon after all they have given up.
Tereno works on consolidating their gains from the Teredan-Tereno conflict and build two cities in the conquered lands. The cities are called Milani and Turinan and are both founded on the mainland peninsula. The city of Milani becomes a center of trade mainly due to its location on the bay north of Corenwal where it attracts trade from the city-states emerging there.
(+Milani as trade center)
As we move across the Great Sea of the Cradle we look at the nation of Illion which through tough diplomacy has released and let the survivors of Teraden go to the small city-state of Tampla. The people of Teraden with the help of Tampla continue their voyage into the interior with barely enough people they found the city of New Teraden. The small population base will hinder early expansion and it remains to be seen if controlling the city will be too much of a burden on the small population. Illion also invests heavily in their “Project Shame Culture” which is finished ahead of schedule thanks to the heavy investment in the project.
We move to the island nation of Corenwal which now hold lands far exceeding the size of its homeland. This has caused problems but these problems come along with great profit as Corenwal makes contact with the Duchy of Fizcat on the far banks of the Great Sea. This brings more trade in Corenwal but suddenly they are plagued by hordes of pirates that literally wreck the trade routes to Fizcat and the pirates even begin to infiltrate the Corenwal’s other routes. These attacks are not as numerous thanks to the navy of Corenwal but will it overextend itself fighting off these pirates? Corenwal sends out a scouting mission exploring the areas around Fizcat and discovers that the shoreline is much larger then previously expected and they also make contact with Saliden.
(-5 galleys, -5 Sceptra)
The Great Sea is a vast place but already competition is starting to appear as T’lur Pa begins to become a major colonial competitor to the nation of Corenwal. They to have problems with pirates but not as severe as they extend their nation farther and farther without really consolidating what they already have. It is a nightmare for T’lur Pa’s navy to be able to keep up with the constant raids but so far have managed to do a fairly good job as the pirate’s numbers are small at the moment at least for the moment. T’lur Pa has more to worry about on land as the raiders from the mountain interior wreck all attempts to civilize the landscape there and the overstretched army has little it can do. The barbarians will be easy to beat once the forces are beefed up in the area because all of these tribes are also bickering amongst one another. The city of Cascade becomes a trade center along with the capital mainly thanks to the growing Dilhavian Kingdom. Trade is strained due to interference and the apparent collapse of the Karankoff States.
(-500 Infantry, -250 cavalry, +Waterside and Cascade trade centers, -1 trade economy)
The Karankoff States ecounter serious problems of their own as the Prime Ministeress Misa Remane seems oblivious to the problems facing his kingdom. A coup takes place while the barbarians take control of the country side. Karankoff’s leader is killed by her top general. Now he is in control and is desperately trying to save the Kingdom before it is too late. The people are trapped in Karankoff state’s capital Westmaker City as the desperately hold of the barbarian hordes.
(-1000 infantry, -500 cavalry)
The nation of Maasla Kiesta the bridge between the interior to the ocean expands up and down river making some good gains. They now border Kaldur in the south and almost border Forgon in north but this may not be exactly a good thing. Maasla Kiesta also sends out missionaries to nearby Kaldur to get followers of the Maaslanimism where they do gain followers. The Garden of Maasla is started which when completed will be a massive garden with trees a ring of trees with the most gorgeous flowers and a massive tree rumored to be grown from the body of Maasla himself.
(+1 confidence, +followers in Kaldur)
Now we move to the nation to the Imperial Tephan as it is now called due to the other two families have sterile sons so only one family remained in a position to have their son as king. So on 55 A.F. or 3925 B.C.E. Joseph Earnt was crowned Emperor of Tephan and now rules over the country with absolute authority. His first move was to save the soldiers surrounded and being hacked down by barbarians in the east. He reorganized his troops using a new tactic not seen yet in this part of the world. His troops used their shields to create a turtle like formation in which the barbarians advanced upon unaware of a trap. From the rear sprung forth cavalry as they hit the enemy ranks the infantry followed up cleaning up what remained. This tactic worked well this campaign and most of the tribes are severely weakened if not completely subdued. As the campaign came to an end the Emperor constructed the city of Teto Retri right across from the city of Teet. An amazing campaign has just begun and it seems like the barbarian hordes are finally in check to the north of Tephan.

Now we move south to the most violent war ever fought between Forgon and Terra Trifluentia. Terra Trifluentia tired of the violence of Forgon move north to defeat their violent leader and force him to reconsider his denial. As Terra Trifluentia moves north they give every tribe the offer to surrender. Sporadic resistance pops up in the tribes along the border region but generally no major resistance has been put up yet. As they neared the tribes homeland the Warlord organized his forces and the two met on a battlefield of Terra Trifluentia’s choosing. In one of the largest battles in the history of the cradle takes place. Thousands die as each side relentlessly tries to destroy the other. As the battle wore on the warlord’s unorganized forces were starting to loose the advantage as the enemy infantry began to outmaneuver them. The battle was won but at a hard cost and Forgon no longer controls the land as it falls into anarchy and many tribes on the frontier go back to the lifestyle before Forgon had arrived. The despot refusing to reconsider is hanged in his home village which is now the fartherst of the Patriarchs territory. Truly an empire has been born on these three rivers with the population at home booming due to investment in irrigation and their only enemy crushed in an epic battle that will be talked about for centuries.
(-2000 Infantry, +1 confidence, +1 trade economy (See Below)
The Empire of the Sky Gods turns over a new leaf as they begin to invest into the economy of their nation instead of solely depending on raiding lesser tribes. First of the Death Lords carve a path to Terra Trifluentia where they have already set up a market for trade between the kingdoms. The Empire also builds another city in the south where it begins to extract the metals which Malduke Empire once thrived on. Kicha thanks to investment in the mountain roads and its central position in the Empire’s trade becomes a trade center. A new Sky God comes to power called Jahartua Sky-God, “The Transcendent” while the old Sky God as usual is buried in a tomb constructed for him on the mountains.
(-100 Death Lords, +Kicha trade center, +1 trade center)
Diplomacy
OCC: Carmen150, I am sorry I was ruff on you this turn but maybe this will make you improve your orders. I do not mind short orders but they require substance to them. Also, label your PM Karankoff orders so I can find the easier.
Birdjaguar your area was revealed because Dihava also knows the area and they revealed locations while trading.
I will bold names when I get back from walking the neighbors dogs.
Other then that only Swissempire and LittleBoots (At least not complete

) did not send orders. Keep it up!
Edit: But wait theres more

! The battle between Terra Triflunentia and Forgon was overexaggerated a little but is probably one of the largest battles fought as both sides employed professionly trained armies on an open battlefield at about the same strength. jalapeno_due expect a lot of trouble holding on to all that land you captured same with you Birdjaguar.
