Favorite Drink

Citronella oil, bleach, break fluid & milk. It's a cocktail I like to call Wroophorargh.

Add a couple more things and you could have yourself your own meth lab, I think.... (No, I know nothing about that, but I've heard that some nasty stuff like that--brake fluid in particular--goes into making the stuff.)

Anyway, I don't drink much at all either, but when I do, a beer is usually what I prefer--preferably a dark one. When I was living in Japan though, drinks were expensive and a lot of bars sold all kinds of drinks for the same price--usually something steep like 1000 yen (about 8 bucks at that time)--whether it was for a beer, a shot, or a mixed drink. So I came to appreciate the best "bang for your buck" drink I knew of at the time, the Long Island Iced Tea. Back then I LIKED to get drunk, though....

Favorite drink, period (out of all possible, alcohol and non) is "Ruby Red" grapefruit juice. I'll go through a gallon of that in a couple days.

My next one... ;)

I'll stick with the classic pint of Guinness.

Maker's Mark bourbon...maybe with a little ginger ale, or maybe not.

Water. Fresh, ice-cold water.

Oh dear:

My favourites of this month (so far :crazyeye: )

Ahem… Beer…
Gin & Tonic (the ‘Mojoan’-version)
Orange-Juice and Vodka (the ‘Ohwellian’ version) I put Grenadine in the bottom though, we call it ‘Filur’ here.
Vodka +Gin +Rum +Pisang Ambon +green soda (the Combat Soldier)
Whiskey (16 year old Jameson)
Cognac (Not the expensive stuff)
Fernet Branca on the rocks :ack: horrible stuff, but what the hell…
Skyy vodka on the rocks
Jägermeister and red soda (the Fire truck)

Me and a buddy of mine had a cocktail night – we mixed a lot of drinks and tried if they were any good. Later in the evening, the taste didn’t seem to matter though.

50% vodka 50% sparkling water, one lemon, 3 ice-cubes ... Nothing better on a hot summer evening.

Iced Tea and Water for me :)

Grape Juice! Mmmmm!

On the increasingly rare occasions when I drink for intoxication:

In the summer - vodka press: vodka, tonic, 7-up and lime; it is a refreshing drink that rarely leaves much of a hang-over.

In the winter - Beer and Jameson on the rocks.

When you really need to get where you are going quickly - Long Island iced tea.

Often I drink a glass or two of red wine a day for health and taste (and because I get free samples from wholesalers), my favorites are:

Barolo, Barbaresco, Amarone or Tuscan Merlot from Italy
Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Bordeaux or Burgundy from France
Oregon Pinot Noir
Merlot from Washington
Cabernet, Syrah or Zinfandel from California
Australian Shiraz
Cheap reds from Spain

For non-alcoholic drinks I prefer water or Fresca.
