Which one is yours?

the Gilliam dude

Most people probably only know John Cleese. Granted, the man is completely hilarious, as are all the Pythons, Graham Chapman and Michael Palin always jump out at me as the nuttiest of the bunch. I'll vote for Chapman. I loved him as Brian; his British Army officer in the Full Frontal Nudity episode (that's it, this sketch is entirely too silly!) was great, too.

And yes, I purposefully omitted Cleese from my decision because I can almost guarantee that 3/4 of the votes will be for him.

I voted Chapman too, he was the best actor.

actually, Gilliam was the only one I knew

Ooh, I'd vote for Carol.

A spanking!

It was close between Terry Jones and Michael Palin, but Terry Jones came out on top.

I like Idle's singing in the end of LOB, and for that alone I could vote for him. However, I still choose Cleese, as I find the man's ability to look completely serious while performing the most outrageous gags to be absolutely unparalleled - and completely hilarious, of course.

Look at the "ministry of silly walks" sketch!

Regards :).

John Cleese. I grin even when I merely hear/read the name. Like this::D

Graham Chapman.

Many will vote Eric Idle and John Cleese, because they made more stuff later on, but in Monty Python GC always cracks me up.

edit: Talk about an on topic crosspost ;)

Michael Palin.

I like his range in Monty Python and I really love his travel programs on the BBC :)

somehow I never really liked chapman that well (except as a gestapo officer ;) ) Most of the time he seemed a bit too silly, even by MP's standards ;)

voted for john cleese. I love it when he completely loses it only to return instantly to his well-composed self (like in the architect sketch, for example).

and Carol definately deserves a mention too :groucho:
