Azubi (= Auszubildender) apprentice
KV (=Kaltverpflegung) cold food (military term)
FUZO (= Fussgängerzone) no car zone
"eitrige mit bugl" (=Käsekrainer mit Scherzl) type of sausage with end of bread
Bim (= Tramway)
handy = cell phone (some sort of pig english term, no real abbrev)
GWD (= Grundwehrdiener) used to be lowest rank in Austrian military, now "Rekrut"
MFG (=mit freundliche Grüssen) sincerely, used in all letters, formal or informal

Yeah, military terms bzw. abbreviations seem to be best (I suspect the German army has abbreviations for already shortened expressions...).
another one: PKZ - Personenkennziffer - kind of id in military administration, you are nothing w/o it!

yeah, we got those military terms as well:

AdA : Angehöriger der Armee (everyone who's in the army)
ErMa: Erkennungsmarke (the "necklace" that identifies you, don't know the english term)

the army also has an unbeaten talent to pick absolutely horrible abbreviations:

KZ - Krankenzimmer (Lacarett?)
SS - Soldatenstube (army-cafeteria)
