Feedback and Suggestions

Sometimes in the town screen when you move a person to a field job, a panel comes up which shows you a bunch of other occupations such a military, but not including the job you moved the person to. To get them into the job you want you have to ignore the panel by pressing escape.

It's somewhat confusing that the icon in the warehouse shows hides but the icon in carriers shows furs.

Yeah, I see what you are saying. The Unit Icon needs to be colored to match the warehouse icon. Also, I noticed that the Leather armor Icon is the same as Furs so that should be updated also.

Edit: Hmm, actually what I was seeing what an extra Unit called Leather in world builder. This should be removed as it isn't used at the moment.

I thought I had fixed this issue, what version are you running? If you can post a save where this happens every time that would be great!

I think I should finish up the language support/gamefont upgrade and then we can look into individual icons. There are a few issues we could resolve, both ingame and coding style (some have one name in code and another ingame).

I'm running Patch 2.5.4.2. This doesn't happen every time. Sometimes the target job appears too.

Possibly yeah. Something probably needs to change...

Although to be fair it is my own stupid fault for not thinking about that fact!

But serfs were levy soldiers for their Lord, and would often be sent over seas for conflicts, so the war change would make sense.

Actually, seems like I did change it so that serfs can cross borders in times a War, did you even try?

One thing else that would be useful in the Goods and Materials Pedia is what Industries use the Yield. Currently I can't remember what Sheep are used for and the Goods and Materials Pedia doesn't say. I think Nightinggale added new stuff where it shows what all gives a bonuses to Goods but yeah, this would be useful also.

Wouldn't that be something like:
Loop professions.
If profession has the yield as input, then list the profession.
Listed professions would then be something like "A+B -> C" telling what it can be used for.

That could be useful, particularly considering it would also apply to other mods. I bet most of us will keep forgetting what the yields in col2071 are used for and what yields they can be turned into.
