Update 8

Ytrini finds a few acorns in the slowly withering forest but most of his success came from fishing. However, he didn't catch as many fish as he expected. Fishing with a spear seems like an entirely different ballgame for him.

Mr. Red and Chuck Norris tried to bust out of prison but the prison break didn't went smoothly and Mr. Red was captured. Chuck Norris's attempt to incite rebellion resulted in a massive public backlash and he was killed by the villagers before Drumn's warriors could break up the riot. Later, Chief Drumn orders scouts to scout the area south of Marchalan's current position. The game is better but there seems to be bandits roaming in the area.


OOC: Not a lot of orders this turn! Also, Chuck Norris is dead. Darth Caesar can enter with a new character but his stats are reset.

Whoops, sorry guys, I had internet trouble for the week. Okay firstly, can i get any extra xp? I dont NEED it, but it would be nice so i could keep up.

2xp: Gather the better fighters of the tribe, and move south to try and hunt down these bandits that the scouts have seen.
2xp: Find a flat piece of wood, and then use a slightly sharp stone to carve 'symbols' to represent certain actions and words.
1xp: take a spear and fish in the stream.

OOC: Are we to assume that we already have a speakable language since we can speak to each other, but that its just not able to be written yet?

Also OOC: Would anybody be interested in a joint project to build a galley sort of boat that we can sail along the coast in the winter in search of other peoples and to search for other places to fish?

Sod Domination, he can go. He is banished from the Tribe. Any NPC's who want to follow him can also go. I don't want anyone festering within my tribe.

The rest of us will move south, either the bandits can join up with or fight us.. i am not worried there are enough of us trained to fight.

I would be interested in helping build a boat in spring.

1XP Celebrate winter and our success as a tribe making everyone a closer knit community.

Can't give you extra XP and you don't really need to worry about "catching up" at this point since the Tribe is diversifying.

On another note, next turn I'm introducing Leadership Points (totally not stolen from IOTVI). As members of the Tribe become more and more influential, they gain "LPs" which can be spent on ordering around followers. That way XP remains relatively personal while LPs are meant for ordering around others. Hopefully, this makes it so that the Chief or other leaders of the Tribe don't become the Tribe.

I would introduce them this turn but i just thought of the idea and I'm still working out how many each player should have right now.

Yeah DC. You don't even need to spend a point "getting" the bow and arrow unless you're trying to steal one or something. Just ask Baker for one or try to make one yourself (which could take a while).
