Few cool details from the streams

I literally laugh out loud when he was bombarded by 5-6 quotes in a row and couldn't continue to talk:lol:

His face ae! That was gold

Looks good generally, but techs seems to fly by. Quill at least is flying through the different ages.

Yesterday I watched a few minutes auf filthy's stream.

It seems the Great Persons need more balancing. While 1 GM gave +4 GPT another gave an additional Economy Card Slot for the rest of the game....

Spain denounced him because he destroyed an German(!) apostel of a non-Spanish religion.

So why do you think some of the first civs to be presented are missing in those streams? If it were only Brazil I would hope for a little reworking on Pedro's face just like they did with Roosevelt. But then I don't know why France, China and Egypt did not show up.

That is awesome! The whole lot :) but especially Philip being so immersive!

I suspect they may have found some balance issues they're working on with them...then if it was that you'd think Rome might've not been present ;)

Another cool feature is that you can rotate the camera/map.

The Eurekas that say "Build X different specialty districts" don't require that you build them. It's enough to own them. In one video the player got Eureka boost for Civil Engineering by capturing Kongo's capital.

Until proven otherwise, I'll assume this also applies to other build X amounts of buildings or build wonder Eurekas. Probably also to the Eurekas that require you build specific improvements.

Writing Bull opened the civilopedia page for the roman legion. No chopping wood and no roads. Just 1 military fort.

It is also the case for Sailing boost. You can capture coastal city to get it.

Take that, people who think Rome is top tier civ :p

Lol, they well and truely are in the lead... road, chops, forts or not! :p

Were Legions able to chop forests in Civ5?

All the leaders seem to have unique lines and responses to each action you make when dealing with them, send a delegation with a gift to Hojo and he thanks humbly, while Philip II slips about welcoming your "heretic". Brings lots of character!
Yes, but they don't have voice overs for delegation exchanges, trade requests, trade acceptances/denials, or even denunciations. I hope the final build has them but something tells me Firaxis skipped all that voiceover this time around. :(

Already missing the more immersive Civ V leader screens which didn't have annoyingly fuzzy backgrounds framed with scoured black. They also had more voice overs and naturalistic transition animations (whereas in Civ VI all leaders snap into their resting state after a denunciation etc).
