[FfH II Art Team Blog]

I am now a Diplom Chemist.
Auch wenn es noch nicht ganz offiziell ist: herzlichen Glückwunsch Herr Dipl.-Chem. (oder Dipl.-Ing. Chem?) und willkommen im Club. :D

Translation: Although it isn't quite official yet: congratulations [... ] (I can't think of a proper english translation of this form of address) and welcome to the club.

Awesome work with the Radiant Guard, much better then the old graphic! I've now got me some motivation to use the Empyrean religion now :D

small update 17.12.o8

Very nice :D its great to have you back seZ and congrat on ya thesis :D

the radiant guard looks great, a gloss map or light effect would really go well on the shield too imho.

thanks.
It´s good to be back.

I am now a Diplom Chemist.
It´s a German degree, probably best to compare with a Master of Science, enabling me to start my PhD in January.
My topic was Synthesis of Hetero-Grafted Block-Type Polymer Brushes by RAFT and ATRP :D

herzlichen glückwunsch auch von dieser seite
---

i would prefer a larger shield on the new radiant guard, the small one doesn't really fit i think, besides the skin is very nice, very shiny and very ... radiant =)

Now that I look at it again I agree with azzedar, a big shield would be better. Though it looks fine as it is.

Congrats and welcome to the PhD sciences club...its a long and painful process. Not so bad in Europe with the 3 year average...but your degrees are shorter in length. In the states it's a 6.5 average sadly just for a PhD...10.5 years total.

Party hard before the pain begins Sez!

Beautiful work with the Radiant Guard man...

THe Radian guard just doesn't seem Radiant enough to me. It seems darker than the old graphics. Could it be made shinier while keeping the current design? Perhaps the glow like that given to Brigit would be appropriate? Also, the sword seems to be a rather dull grey whereas a bright silver would be more appropriate.

I haven't played the kuriotes in a while, but anyway I remember seeing in this thread a while back a lamia model for the kuriotes adept/mage line, whatever happened to that?

I believe it is still waiting to be rigged and animated.

Refar is still working on the animation, I don't want to bother him during holyday perdiod, but I'll check the status of the units after the 2 weeks of holydays are done.

Would it be possible to create a few simple re-skins of the wall building (and all similar structures) for some of the civs? It looks very strange to have a dark, eery city with a light-grey wall. A black wall would be rather nice. I am sure a few other civ's city sets could stand a different color as well, but that seems the most glaring.

A request: I have seen in the latest 'FfH funny screenshots' thread a turn counter in brackets on the food and production bar for every city. [I think it is implemented in the FF mod-mod]. Could we get this in the main mod?

I am pretty sure, that this can be changed via the option menu
Go Advanced -> Options -> Graphics and click on 'Detailed City Info' (or so)

just randomly, i was browsing deviant art and came across this, a depiction of Hastur. at first i was like pfft thats not what i though hastur would look like, but then i clicked that FfH borrowed Hastur from elsewhere. just found it interesting. its pretty good too :p

Would it be possible to give Archmagi an attack animation in the same way as the Priests & High Priests?
