I tend to think that the descriptions of him as a child makes it sound like he was extremely autistic long before he was schizophrenic. He is remarkably high functioning.

No, I'm not talking about one of Threepwood's silly songs, but one of the most popular songs from my mother's youth.

... and how could it be a song stolen from the Lanun? When was it released?

I think he means it was stolen for the Lanun, not from. I'm assuming he's referring to the Harbor 'pedia entry, though I'm not sure, and my lazy half-hearted hunt of the 'net turned nothing up.

Yeah, I'm talking about Otis Reading's "Sittin' on the dock of the bay," much of which is found in the harbor entry as a drinking and rowing song sung as a conversation between the Otis character and the the Urlman. I was kind of joking when I said that Otis reading stole it from the Lanun instead of vice versa. I suppose I also could have implied that he is the same Otis as in the song, so he just happened to join the Lanun when he died.

Ok, so they aren't exactly the same, but they have a lot in common.

KillerClowns got the right pedia entry at least, so I guess I'll give it to him.

OK, a weird, slightly obscure kind of question then. I think MC should be able to get this, at least:

Of the Ljosalfar and the Svartalfar, which could be considered the 'left' race and which the 'right', and why?

Bah, this question is far too easy for me to even bother with, if I were allowed to answer another question so soon. It isn't obscure at all, it is obvious when you look at the civ traits.

left handed is a derivative of the word sinister, so would be the Svart. If the Ljos are the Svarts opposite that would make them right handed....but surely they should be ambi dextrous? ;)

Yeah, that's it. Dextrous means 'right' in Latin, so ambidextrous means 'both right', so you can use both hands as well as most people can use their right hands. Your question then!

No, Dexter means right in Latin. Dexterous is an Anglicization of Dexterosus (or is is dextrosus?), meaning pertaining to the right hand. thus ambidextrous means that both hands are like the right, not that both are on the right.

Sinister is simply left, not a adjective meaning of the left.

You know, while most people seem to have had a stigma against left handed people and the left direction in general the Romans considered the left a positive thing (at least until they came under too much Greek influence). This is in part in tradition Roman divination the diviner faced south (instead of north like the Greeks did) which means that omens appearing on the left side would be coming from the direction of the rising sun instead of the setting sun. In general sunrise was seen as positive and sunset as negative in both Greek and Roman divination.

I've been trying to think of a question all day - I'll have to leave as an open floor for now!

    If you travel deep below
    where the flying camera goes
you'll find that we have left a sign
    meant to entertain and remind
that naughty bits are not for show

What unit is this riddle about?

Captain Obvious says it involves a unit wearing either a skirt, a loincloth, or a kilt. If I weren't lazy, I'd start with the Svarts and then meander from there.
EDIT: Or does it mean below the game map? Well, we'll find out, won't we?

    Brigit, maybe?

ETA: Come to think of it, such a sign for the Succubus would be a little odd, given that she's already shirtless...

If it were a succubus... the naughty bits would more likely be shown
