FfH2 Bug Thread

Cassiel no longer has the agnostic trait. Is this the feature suggested awhile ago, where certain traits are given to the civilization, and not the leader?

Or is this a bug?

The Doviello cannot build berserkers since their requirement has been moved to training yards.

Life 3 is useless for Doviello
Luchiurp, Grigori and Doveillo can not resurrect Hero.
Barnaxus can be resurrected by Picese of Barnaxus, Grigori have many heroes, so this is not penalty for them.
But Doveillo have nothing.... and can not build the Shrine of Champion.
Lucian would be resurrected ?

Lucian is not the hero for the Doviello. The War Machine is, and I assume it can be resurrected.

I attacked a (Calabim) Ratha that supposedly "cannot move (1)" due to Blinding Light and it ran back to its home borders.

Message in log: "A Ratha has fled from combat with your Centaur".

Not sure if this is a bug, but sounds like it.

How do you get Scenarios to load properly? I can't seem to figure it out.

1. Start a custom game on a duel erebus map.
2. Save the game.
3. Exit FfH2.
4. Reload FfH2.
5. Load your save game.
6. Then try to play a scenario.

Although it doesn't work for everybody. You can start the scenarioes by run the scenario file directly (look under one of the directories), but beware doing it this way you must look first so you don't start a scenario that you are not supposed to start (i.e. not unlocked yet) because this method doesn't check for that (i think).

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot, it is something problematic with loading scenarios (as you have guessed), so it not just you, its many of us. They guys are working on it, perhaps not today or this weekend, but have faith, they will get it fixed eventually.

I tried to make it work using the duel erebus map, but it still didn't work. Which Scenario should I begin with? I usually only play custom games, but I decided to give this a try.

Do the Grand Menagerie scenario and if you win that The Momus scenario becomes unlocked. Gift of Kylorin is different, very different.

Thank you for your help. Can't wait for the next patch. I really like what all you guys have done with this.

I found this in a scenario, but might aswell turn up in the normal games:
In "Into the Desert" I trade my fellow Malakim friend Kane Honour to spread it. In the same turn I got a brandnew Ecclesiastic from trading to him & observing the next turn, Kane got one for him aswell!

Edit:
Actually that works both ways: Kane traded FoL with Ethne & I got a disciple of it too!

I beat Into the Desert scenario and it did not unlock Wages of Sin as advertised.

I was playing The Momus scenario and when I tried to heal 7 archers at once while fortifying in a city it said "Fortify Until Healed - 2147483647 Turns". It made me laugh if you need a screen shot just ask.

When researching Feudalism, the popup for caste system still has the original text from Civ IV (stating that you can have unlimited specialists of several types) even though the effects in FfH are different for this civis. It should probably be updated to avoide confusion.

You probably have an archer who has started mutated with either withered or diseased- it's not a bug but rather the number displayed when your units have no chance of healing at all (similar to the research turn numbers when you are in anarchy)

Playing as Balesraphs, a Mimic of mine stole Vampirism from a Calabim opponent.

I can gift it to other units, but all they get is Vampirism and being able to gift it to others (and the bonuses).

However, they can't Feast on citizens of my city and gain experience.

Obviously, I don't have any Bloodpets to Feed on and regain strength when wounded, but feeding on city citizens should work, shouldn't it?

Patch "g" is linked in the first post. It will break save games and makes the following changes:

1. Black Tower: Fixed an error that could make the scenario unwinable.
2. Removed the Trojan Horse unit.
3. Added the Verdandi unit (Doveillo Phalanx, doesnt require training yards).
4. Added the Circle of Urd unit (Doveillo Berserker, doesnt require training yards).
5. Added the Skuld unit (Doveillo Immortal, doesnt require training yards).
6. New Svartalfar Settler model by seZereth.
7. Fixed an issue that could cause barb units to wait to heal even though they heal on move (fix by Xienwolf).
8. Barb world units will no longer wait in cities (fixed by Xienwolf).
9. Combat odds will now be displayed when land units with water walking/boarding/flying attack a naval unit.
10. Barbarian Assault: Increased the amount of turns.
11. Blood of Angels: decreased the Grigori strength.
12. Lord of the Balors: Hyborem won't be quite as likely to spawn high level units after the 100 goal is reached.
