FfH2 Bug Thread

I've played about 5 games since installing 0.41 and it looks like other civs aren't founding religions. I've won two straight religious victories a few turns after discovering the first religion Order. I can't believe that's a coincidence. Any one else having the same problem?

Has anyone else had problems with Team Multiplayer games in FFH? My friend and I had civilizations joined by roads, but we were unable to share our resources. It should just be automatic with a functional trade route, right? No other steps necessary?

Hi there,

I have some problems with Ressources in FFH (german localization). I have iron (Eisen) connected to my cities, but it doesn't show up in the ressource-manager like all others and so I cannot get the benefits for them. Incence (Weihrauch) shows up on the left side - strategic ressources - but should appear with happiness ressorces, I think

one tech reveals the iron on the map and the next tech (dont know the name, maybe ironworking) will give you the benefits of Eisen.
Weihrauch just gives you the happy bonus with one or more tempels in your city...

Ah, ok. I didn't get that. Got Ironworking and *tada* the bonus :)

Not sure if this has been posted yet, and its not a big thing either way. The healing salve model appears mostly below the terrain in v. 0.41a. The bubbles also travel downwards rather than upwards, which is a bit odd. I'm sure it won't ruin anyones gaming experience though. ;)

edit: It also "talks" in the Amurite voiceset when I click on it (when playing as the Amurites).

I have a problem with the a-patch. Since i hat a newinstalation of my windows, the autointall of FvH does not find the path, but that´s no problem, since i can choose the path, but the a patch does not let me choose it. Simply setup cannot find existing version of 041. the main mod must be installed before this patch can be applied. And that´s it. Not patches for me :(

Mind you, it should still be fixed.

Run FFH once and start a custom game. Then quit and you should be able to apply the patch. I believe the patch looks for some registry entries that don't get created until you run FFH at least once.

That doesn't help.

I found a neat bug when trying to return a city to its original owner.

When you capture a city you sometimes get four options: a) examine the city, b) install a governor and keep, c) blow it up, d) return it to the original owner - a third party. What I found is that sometimes both option c and d blow the city up.

Not a crippling problem, as you can work around it, but still not WAD.

I attached a save game. To reproduce this bug, play the Svartalfar and use any one of the units near Cevedes to capture the city. Attempt to return the city to the Amurites. Accidents happen during the hand over. :P

I was playing a game with 041 and everything went fine (never used Decius or other units i've seen affected by the patch).
Then, i installed 041a and a giant spider looked like a red blob.

Just to let you know.

Many people have this issue, maybe all?

I have a question about getting a "Great General". In standard Civ, you collected "Fight Experience" and after reaching a certain treshhold, you got the general. You are able to see the experience in the Military advisor Screen (F5).

Likewise in FFH, I thoght. But actually, I am at 89/30 with the experience and do not get anything. Is this a bug or do I need to do something, like having a prereq. tech to get the general?
