Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

Just beat the game - easy. :)

Recruited Ezel, the card guy, and Ritz. Also Pallanza, gladiator with the ultima sword skill. And Littleville, another secret character. :) As well as another nu mou and another viera. Got 17 guys in my team now... 3 for transfer to my pal's game.

Now all the 'expert' missions are coming out. :)

Recruited Shara and Babus; Shara comes equipped with the Seventh Heaven greatbow. :)

Babus and Ezel are specialist classes - not found in game. Can't learn any new skills, or chg classes.

Scored almost 100 hours in the game, and completed almost 220 missions. Clan level at 50+, and most clan skills in the mid 40s. :)

Does anyone find the sniper's doubleshot skill a little ridiculous? I mean; what's the point of dividing the dmg in one shot into two consecutive shots of half dmg each? Has there been an error?

I'm running out of missions to take... Practically no more despatch missions, due to failure to meet pre-requirements. :( Only taking in repeated missions, or else the 'foreign fiend' ones.

Did 265 missions. Or was it 266? :)

Trying to complete rest; problem is more of a lack of pre-requisite mission items than any field battle difficulty. :undecide:

Except for 4, the rest of my 15-men team had learned all their learnable skills. :) Hehe.

271 missions and 123 hours done. I've given up on walking around for days (in the game), hunting down raiders, and simply waiting for missions that I want to appear. Boring...

Now playing Fire Emblem in ernest, which I think is more suitable and 'lighter' for a GBA. :)

So I was feeling a little bored; took out my FFTA catridge and loading my old game to continue...

I found... my saved game was gone! What's going on here!? :gripe:

So I played a new game; saved when finally gotten thru the tutorial onto the world map. Battery ran low; stopped; charged battery. Loaded up game some hours later... New saved game was gone too! What's happening here!?

Hmm... I've never seen a problem like this before, at least not with GBA carts. I know most older carts used to save using a battery, and when that battery ran out it wouldn't save anymore. Usually the saves remain for years and years before they die, but maybe the cart got damaged or something. Try to get a file save one more time, but probably it's dead now. Sucks, I know...
