Firaxis Chat This Friday!

As you know, our September 13 chat with Firaxis was canceled because of a domain problem. It has been rescheduled to this Friday, October 4th, at 4 PM EST. Come to the chat and ask Firaxians any questions you have about the Civ3 expansion pack!

You can access the chat room by going to the Java chatroom page here, or you can use an IRC client such as mIRC or DarkStyle (1.9 MB) to connect to the chat server at irc.webmaster.com then join the channel #civfanatics. The bottom of the forum also has a link to the Java chat room.

EST is -5 GMT, so it's 9 PM in GMT.

Don't forget to come to the Firaxis chat tomorrow at 4 PM EST (or 9 PM GMT)... This is the best time to ask Firaxians any questions you have about the expansion pack, which is scheduled for release later this month.

Maybe your browser setting prevents Java applets from being displayed...

Have you tried using DarkStyle to access the chat room? It's not very difficult to use...

I've tried but there's no one yet.
I'm not sure to be on a real chatroom
I can type anything and it works.

You probably entered the wrong IRC server name. It is irc.webmaster.com. Maybe you forgot the .com extension?

nope.
I downloaded a java console and now it's working but I can't participate.
I can only see the chat(which is frustrating)
It's said that chat moderation is on.

Damien, you need to send your questions to Chieftess or Grey Fox. Only Firaxians and Ops have voice for now. We'll have a free chat session where everyone can talk later in the chat.
