I am flatfooted, which is annoying considering I only found out after I had left school, I could have avoided so many PE lessons.

Im sorry that so many CFC-ers are borned with a deformed foot. I can only assure them of how much pleasures of life they have lack :D, actually i don't have a flat feet, but my left foot is twisted to the side :( , it hurts quite alot when i run cross country.

I believe (I've never seen a doctor about it) I'm flat-footed. It certainly isn't a serious disability or anything for me, although it can lead to some aches and pains.

sorry, but it wont get you out of PE,
besides most shoes make activity just fine, though when you are at the beach it can be hell.

I was flatfooted from 3rd grade - 6th grade, and the foot doctor told me not to wear any shoes with flat rubber soles that could be bent really easily. Also my shoes had to have a sturdy "heel", meaning when you squeeze it is stronger than flimsy "casual" shoes. I've developed more of an arch in my feet, but I've never really been slowed down by bad feet, it only ached a lot when I was younger. Now, I just have humungous callasses (sp?) on my feet, and everyone says the balls of my feet are WAY abnormal. I think its just a lot of accumulated dead skin.

How should I vote: normal or arches?

Yes, I did take two pictures of my feet with my cell phone for the sole (pun intended!) purpose of this thread. :mischief:

I have flat feet, but according to the army doctor that checked my feet to see if I was fit to serve in the armed forces, my feet had enough arch.

Which made me able (but not willing) to serve

I use Ecco shoes for the arch support.

Huh ? I didn't even think this could affect anyone in any way ...

I seem to have a flat foot on one part(outer) and an arch on the other part(inner) ?
So which one is it ?

Well, being flat footed can lead to pains in both back and legs.

If I wear the wrong shoes, my back hurts a lot after a while.

By wrong shoes I mean shoes a person with a normal arch could wear.

I pretty much have no arch, just a ball of muscle or something where it should be. Never bothered me, never hurts, and I run alot. And I'm probably faster than you. ;)

EDIT: That guy who posted the pictures does not have flat feet.
EDIT2: The statement of superiority above does not apply to Fetus or Atlas14. ;)
