He'd be the best player in the world if it wasn't for Messi, just like Mourinho'd be the best manager if it weren't for Guardiola :p.
 
I would like to see Guardiola coach another team before labeling him the best manager. Just to know if the team operates so good because of his coaching skills, or because of the team's football skills.

It's synergic, I doubt Guardiola could achieve as much with another team, or whether this team could achieve as much with another coach. It's just the combination that works. And how.

Absolutely. I read that FIFA or the FA are testing two new types of tech at the moment, but it is still decades too late. The Footballing establishment is full of incompetant idiots. I mean what serious organisation would tolerate Sepp Blatter and the corruption at FIFA?
 
One that benefits from Sepp's patronage. FIFA is not incompetent. As as bribe syndicate it is very competent and earns much money for its senior members.

As a note, technology removes discretion and room for "mistakes" from referees. That's very bad if you are a Third World football official trying to make your career pay.
 
Fifa is wholly incompetant, whilst Tennis and Rugby have used video technology to make the correct decison, they have been sitting on their arse doing nothing about it! Well lets keep video technology for the top leagues around the world, who cares if blue square league south doesn't have video tech? :P
