The EPL title race has been relatively dull this season; Arsenal v Man City was a fine example. Real Madrid and Barca are very good. I enjoy watching Real play any team.
Regarding the Champions League these semi finals are the best looking fixtures in recent memory. Ofcourse Real and Barca are brilliant but Bayern and Chelsea are also very hungry; theres a great balance among the teams. Every team has the quality to win, but equally importantly each storyline catches the imagination.

Yeah, Young's was a dive. He was touched, but not enough to cause that fall. Probably should have had a yellow card for it.
With Suarez, it seems he's falling over and fluttering to the ground like a petal in the breeze once or twice every match. You'd have to be a pretty determined or very gullible ref to believe him now.

Real Madrid are getting very nervous. They still have to play in Barcelona, and some other fields that have traditionally been complicated for them such as Vicente Calderon against Atletico de Madrid or San Mames against Athletic Club

Could it just be that whenever it happens in a United match its more high profile, so gets more attention and sticks in people's minds?
Of course I guess its easier to imagine it as one big conspiracy...

It might be traditionally complicated when looking at the whole of last century, but AFAIK in the last ten years Real Madrid drew one game and won all others in Vicente Calderon, most of them quite comfortably.
But yeah, they sure need that trend to continue in the next game (wednesday?) as they can't afford any more drops before visiting Camp Nou.
Man City's performances have been miserable for the past few weeks, but I see smoke screen operation "let's blame Balotelli!" (a nutcase for sure) is in full march.

They have indeed been poor, and it perhaps says something about Chelsea that they are the only team to lose to City recently. You could be right about the "let's blame Balotelli" slant, but it is quite a cynical way to look at Mancini's behaviour. I prefer to believe that Mancini has continued to trust Balotelli's ability will win out over his temperament, and is now running out of patience (actually, it might be the rest of the team have run out of patience and made that clear to Mancini). If the manager is trying to encourage a focus on one player to distract attention from his own shortcomings, that would be pretty contemptible.

Before the game there were quite a few comments about Silva has been struggling lately whilst he was a key player for them earlier in the season.
I don't see why they let Tevez come back as Mancini had said he would never play again so to backtrack must have surely hurt his authority with the rest of the players even if some wanted him to be allowed to come back.
Also the comments after the match report make a fair point about how the Guardian have had a million crisis articles aboout Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal but none about Spurs yet. Presumably because they are trying to avoid criticising the next England manager until he gets appointed. To go along with the Tevez thing I'm still not sure how Redknapp got off the tax evasion case.

Out of 12 teams that's two who won't be bakc next year.
Hopefully they bring in Canberra United as a replacement though!
