"For Completeness Sake": Win a Copy of 'CivIV: Complete' Signed by Sid Meier!

Yeah, Windows. Or more precisely, not Mac.
While Civilization IV: Complete is for the Windows platform, Parallels Desktop could be used on the Mac in order to use this title, or even setting up a dual-boot.

“Civilization IV makes my life complete by..." Allowing me to build entire civilizations after my own beliefs

"Civilization IV makes my life complete by adding more Happiness for my civ and more unhappiness for other civ (My girlfriend)."

Civilization IV makes my life complete by helping me to understand the dynamics of the world.

Every aspect of Civilization IV is clearly based on our reality - The dynamics of the technologies, religions, wars, and leaders.

It makes the world make sense through its complexity, and my willingness to learn to play the higher difficulties has caused my ability for out of the box thinking to increase drastically.

The strategic elements are absolutely incredible - How many angles can I approach a single problem with is always important to me.

Playing the game helps me to see things for what they are in the real world - It makes the dynamics of understanding human behavior much easier, and much more logical.

When I see the way the AI reacts to my actions, it always reminds me that any action I take, as in real life, will always influence those I am connected to. It makes me carefully consider the consequences of the things that I do.

There's also the aspect of the totally realistic viewpoint that you can't always get what you want - Nothing's ever fair, but if you do your best to excel it's almost always possible to come to the top!

I think that ultimately, this game has helped me get out of the "I can't do this" attitude. Now I believe "I can do this, all I have to do is try." This is the basis of advancement on all levels of humanity, and it's a component of the game that most people don't realize is there - the component of self-limitation that evolves into self-realization and understanding.

Civ IV is the best game ever, period.

Civilization IV makes my life complete
by allowing me to compete.
Civilization IV makes my life civilized
and my happiness maximized.

"Civilization IV makes my life complete by..."

"Letting me off the Real World while I build a Fantastic World !! "

Shame I don't have that.
:(

And I don't suppose it's part of the prize...
No, it is not.

There is the possibility that if you entered this contest in time, you could win one of the copies signed by Sid irrespective of this consideration. :D

"Civilization IV makes my life complete by..."

Keeping my megalomania in the confines of a masterpiece of a computer game.

In update, I have sent a private message to all pending contest winners this evening. These individuals need to reply, on/by this time next week, with their mailing address and phone number in order to secure their placing.

The complete winners list will be announced publicly after this process is complete, which may be a bit of time after this date depending upon responses received.

I know this is over, but...

"Civ 4 makes my life complete by... wait, what life?"

There was a technical issue in the dispatching of some of the winning notifications; those identified as such have until January 17th in order to confirm their winning placement in this contest.

I know this is over, but...

"Civ 4 makes my life complete by... wait, what life?"

In further update, two of the potential winners contacted did not respond by the deadline. As such, I will need to review my entries list and contact the next two top placement entry posters. This will further delay the public announcement of the winning entries.

The fact that this was the highlight of my day proves the above statement.
:D

Can you please elaborate?

Can you please elaborate?
The two individuals in question did not respond by the deadline; therefore, they are no longer eligible to ultimately place in the contest and receive the corresponding prize. The posters of the next two top placing entries are now pending winners.
