I've just got back to uni, where they have Internet Explorer (v6) on Windows (XP profession) instead of Safari on a Mac (OSX10.4). Here, I find that when I've multiquoted in one thread, if I go back later to that thread and quote someone in a new post, the old quotes that I multiquoted earlier are requoted in my new post! What's happening?

Did you actually post the post with the quote in the thread the quoted post was posted in? If not, this is intentional. It says in little words at the bottom "you are multiquoting a post from a different thread. do you want this post to be quoted in this post?" or something like that.

Yes, it was in a thread where I made two posts within an hour or so. I can't remember which, though, since it was several days ago.
 
Gah, and I thought the forum was upgraded again.

How many people use the multi-quote thing anyways?
