free stats software?

Is there any good free stats software out there? I hate having to go to school computers to use minitab.

Thanks Mr. Warpus! Anyone have any experience with the free ones among those? The DataPlot one looks good but I have a hard time trusting anything created by NIST, given how bad they are at making tables.

R is very powerful and makes nice graphs. I have only used it for plotting stuff, though.

If you can afford a couple hundred dollars, I'd go with Kaleidagraph.

I googled it, and found a list of some.. Don't know about quality, and as usual do the usual virus-scan stuff.

I'd just like to give my thumbs-up to R very straightforward, very powerful, and yes it does make very nice graphs!
