Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Hey, don't forget :w00t:!

Do you by any chance have the smiley files for us to do that? :)

Because no one made fitting ones mostly - you are welcome to do so though :deal:

Pffft. Content? Me? You'd have better luck getting lemon juice from a cactus.

Also I don't have a clean version of the Santa had and am not in the mood to crop it out because that would require doing work that someone else already did.

Hey, don't forget :w00t:!

I didn't forget it, and yet I still didn't list it.

So don't use them. Don't look at them. Feel free to totally ignore them, the way I feel free to totally ignore some of the visual stuff I don't like.

And feel free to ignore posts that were clearly meant for a moderator.

Since we're on topic, couldn't we just have a set of separate christmas smileys that will be displayed as their normal versions during the Christmassy period instead of the other way around?

That would require extra coding, and would result in code breaks for the many, many smileys already posted around the forum.

In this instance, it really is more work than most admins are prepared to go through, and something I understand, having gone through it on my own forums.

Having said that... it's not a bad idea to prepare for NEXT year, to give the Christmas smileys a different code (preferably something easy enough to remember for those of us who type, rather than click).

OK, that makes sense. The smallest monitor I've used was 18". Guess that says a bit about how long I've been around...

I'm currently on a 17" laptop but my desktop has an old 15" CRT monitor yet :p

I should update but Windows 8 has held me back, not sure I want it.

My PM limit just went from 300 to 500, and I have no idea why.

Why?

Is that enough for your 'three good karma points' to be redeemed, Battery-man?

Don't be a cheapskate on your karma points.
