What do you mean, stupid AI? Lincoln just walked his whole stack of Workers over to my city. Sometime before, he continously tried to rush his Settlers between those 2 (?) cities, but they at least were protected by a single Longbowman. He also frequently moved his completely undefended Catapults right next to my (or actually, his former) cities. Come on, I have railroads, Infantry, Cavalry, aircraft... Poor brave new world...

The votes have been tallied, and there are some allegations of fraud, as some Carthaginian districts are reporting a 1500% voter turnout rate.

I am shocked, SHOCKED to hear of these allegations. Might it just be that the Chinese Loving Elitists can't accept the wisdom of the people? I refer all questions to my chief electoral advisor, and head of my Get Out the Vote Campaign, Mr Robert Mugabe.

Barbs with Railroads.:wow: Might be because those city ruins there were once called Seoul, which must have been belonging to the barbs for millennia (WK was killed in the BCs, probably by an event). Must have improved their research quite a bit.
Also: Out of interest, I peeked at those barb cities a bit in WB, and it showed one of their cities building a factory, but another building a Rifleman. How is that even possible?
...I wonder if the barbs will get nukes if they're just left alone for long enough in decent lands.

IIRC the barbs are limited to riflemen; they cannot build any units past that.

seems to be correct... especially new world barbs who can be quite advanced

Priest to townfolk: Ok, folks. The city is crowded already, let's make every streets as small as alley. That is important so we can house as many people as possible. Oh, btw, make sure there are PLENTY of space around the temple. I need my space to talk to shiny immortals in the sky. And I prefer corner please.

Haha, I looked at the picture and thought for sure that the cap would be about the road going through the walls 4 times, and through the temple :crazyeye:

I think the deer in the picture above just got dumped...

Have two funny/interesting screenshots from a heavily modded game (Rise of Mankind: A New Dawn if anyone is interested.)

Screenshot #1: This one is REALLY hard to spot, but is certainly odd. Hirohito is the leader of Japan, and Dido is the leader of Carthage. So you can see that Carthage is the master of Japan...

But wait! Even though Carthage is the master, Japan has LESS points than Carthage!! I bet no-one has seen that before! [It happens because Japan is an off-shoot of rebal Greece, and so it has Greeces technological prowess, but only two cities. Carthage has been around for millenia, so it has poor tech, but lots of units. It just has to capture one city, weaken Japan, and then BOOM! A vassal with more points than the master)

Screenshot #2: In the right corner, wielding the awesome power of 5 tactical nuclear warheads, four torpedo launchers, and a nuclear powered engine capable of out-racing any ship on the planet: THE NUCLEAR SUBMARINE!

In the left corner, weilding two heavy ballista, and not one, not two, but FIVE rows of slaves, the SIEGE QUINQUIREME!!

Who will win? Nobody knows!

[BTW, with 80 str. vs. 5 str., this is actually BETTER odds than an unmodded tank vs. spearman. Also, the sub has a 78% withdrawl chance and +20% strength. Oh, and in RoM, high tech unitclasses (guns, subs, deisal ships etc.) have bonuses vs. low tech unitclasses (wooden ships, archers, melee units), meaning the final odds were equivilent to a 96 str. unit attacking a unit a little weaker than 2 strength. And if the 96 str unit loses, then it has a 78% chance of not dying. The sub won, thankfully]

[Edit] For those who want to know the chance of the sub dying? 3.5163 * 10^-30, or a one in 284,389 trillion trillion chance [/Edit]

Not sure if this belongs here or the demotivator thread in H&J, but probably here since not every civfanatic plays civ4, so here goes:
