Monty Python' s Holy Grail is just awesome. Probably has the funniest into to a movie I've ever seen.

Haha, I'm sure the Holy Tactical Nukes of Antioch will make an appearance in some mod soon...

Yeah. I'll get right on that.

Nonono - they want me to build a grocer in the city that Carthage just took.

Well, it just shows you that the popup advisor has supreme confidence that the GG in Hastings will take out the Carthaginian stack there, and then wheel to liberate Oxford. Optimism, man, optimism.

Going for my first culture win, so want a peaceful world...think the ai have other ideas? :)

Yep - pretty standard on a map with Capac in the south, Monty in the middle and an American in the north. Monty wrecks America with his armies and wrecks his own economy so badly he never recovers, and Capac does nothing much ever except occasionally found Buddhism or build an early wonder. Playing on an earth map is a bit of a waste because the American civs might as well not be there. Though it's a nice challenge to play one of the American civs - by the time you've met the Europeans, you've given them a fair tech start (especially if you're not paying Monty and have to deal with the AI Monty in the process) and it's a nice challenge to still beat them to Alpha Centauri... :D (No record dates of course, but I find it a fun challenge, especially at the higher levels.

Yeh the incans havent moved from their mountain range, as if they dont understand you can use a galley to settle

As the english i have a massive tech lead despite 8 cities...i can win conquest or space comfortably

i always turn diplomatic victory off though as its cheesy imho... but it was enabled for the scenario..i built the apopolistic palace as i wanted to be a candidate, and won initial election, but not sure how often they revote head, and think i may have made a mistake building it as i have lots of neg diplo for killing spain and france

fun map though... catherine is a backstabbing b*** though as she declared at friendly!!!!! (i think she was bribed, ghengis declared then catherine and saladin same turn)

The only good thing I see about that start is all the forests. You got four crappy seafoods which will take a detour to fishing and like 120 hammers worth of units to improve, and don't provide much food anyways, and two mediocre tiles that have to wait until calendar to improve.

Unless I missed the joke and it's so bad that it's funny?
