Not building a lighthouse in that city is funnier IMHO ;)

You *Seriously* need a lighthouse in this city!! Build one quick!

Edit: Ah. I just read the next post and saw that someone else noticed that before I did :)

It's really nice to have commerce like that in coastal tiles, but when you have it's even better to have a lighthouse and have some more food from them too! ;)

"build a lighthouse!"

that was my first attempt at an 18 civ duel pangaea map, prince difficulty, and i was concentrating on eradicating all rivals before building city improvements. besides, this city was near happiness cap and although i was in monarchy i had most of my units on the western frontier

and if i had control over the whole continent, it would be like a permanent golden age, in more ways than one (three actually. get it??) :D

Not enough time for improvements? You seem to have had time to build Stonehenge, and Lighthouses are really cheap. ;)

In my last game the same pasture was hit by tornadoes three times. Maybe "Repetitive Events" is a better description.

I had that as well, it got hit twice, then something else got hit, then it got hit again, all within about 300 hundred years!

Anyway, here are some more from a recent game:
How did that get there?

What???
Civ4ScreenShot0002.jpg

I swear that this one is not WB, I have WB disabled so there is no temptation to use it! Well, I suppose you have guessed how that happened, there was a fort there.

Finally,
Civ4ScreenShot0004.jpg

Yes, that was a full health infantry being killed by a defending Barbarian warrior!!

Maybe your infantry ran out of ammo and became scared, and therefore not as good fighters. Perhaps the warrior was well-trained, on steroids, and the club was covered in the poison of the South American poison dart frog as well as soaked in deadly venom of a Tapian snake.

I don't get the first one.

wut?

and why the double-post.

Keeping this post legit: did the warrior have insane promotions? or what?

and why the double-post.

If you ask me (I know you didn't, but I'm not going to shut up) it seems CivIVMonger was post-count whoring to reach 200.

EDIT: I'd like to point out that he does have a tendency to be rather... eh... noobish. I mean, most of his posts are brief and undescriptive. It seems to me that he's the kind of member who believes quantity of posts takes priority over quality.
