Funny Screenshots: Part Deux

i got an idea ... try just saying what it is you find funny in a given screenshot instead of going the "guess whats fun with this picture" game, which is a beaten to death cliché, which never really ever was fun ...

^ Well I guess some might find it funny that apparently Mao built his palace on another continent and spun off his first cities as a colony (ZY in the screenshot).

Mao lost his capital twice.
Beijing to the barbs and his second to Charlemagne during a war.

I only noticed it when I saw the replay, where there was suddenly a colour change. :crazyeye:
(Ethiopia and Japan were colonies.)

@Silv Something
Try again.
It's something I've never seen before in all my games.

Wang has not been killed or vassalised? In fact he has a vassal of his own :hide:

Edit: the problem with posting at work is people start talking to me while I'm typing, and by the time I get to finish, my post is no longer relevant (if it was relevant to begin with). Why won't they leave me alone?

Last I checked, Germany isn't in Siberia, Canada, or Alaska. BTW, why do you have cities DIAGONAL from each other?!?

Obviously, I can't speak for the poster of this picture, but it is an earth map, and these cities look like they're fairly close to geographically accurate position.

Still, IMHO, it seems weird to have that much BFC overlap. I like to use historical city names on Earth maps as much as the next guy (maybe more), but that just seems a bit absurd.

A WW2 Scenario or something? I don't know as I only play normal Civ4. Cities are founded by the Scenario? Because they're all within 2 tile tiles of each other which is not allowed.

It's 2072 AD and you're bragging about your horse archers?

theres a lot of things wrong with that picture. unless you somehow managed to set people back thousands of years.

It was an always peace deity game... I've never played anything higher than Prince (and I have enough trouble with that right now), and I wanted to see if I set it as a Cultural only game (the way I tend to win in any game), with the settings I mentioned previously, if I had any chance... and for a long time, it seemed like I had no chance... then, apparently, everyone's economy crashed (mine did eventually, as well) but I pulled out the win.

I attribute the win to the fact that I only settled three cities and focused on nothing but culture, happiness, health and science; whereas, the AI seemed to treat it as any other game, amassing a good number of cities and huge armies. I realized after a while that I had pretty much stacked the deck against the AI (not knowing that the AI would treat it like any other game with wars and whatnot).

That's not "in", you ninny!

Seawolf?

Here's what happened next: the Big Bad Wolf proceeded to move southeast until it attacked Mecca, and subsequently got killed by my warrior. :crazyeye:

Wait, what? It moved across land? And attacked a warrior?

That's a weird boat.
