In C2C you can turn them off in the middle of the game IIRC. You are playing C2C for sure. You're building Culture (Commanche) in Atlanta

I think something bad would happen if I turn PAs off when there are already 3 of them

Yeah, they would immediately be cancelled. Duh.

I don't have any idea how to turn them off mid-game, anyway, I haven't found them in the BUG options screen.

It's in the C2C options tab if it's there. Or the one that's called 'Settings' I don't remember.. I could check though
There's a Alliances on/off in the diplomacy section

Not funny per se, just playing around with stereoscopic imaging while thinking about how best to proceed in my ragnar game: I think it looks cool, I almost want to reach into the screen and pick them up with my fingers haha

I'd call it the Chuck Norris galley, but because it died, it can sadly no longer be called that.
