Where's the funny factor? An AI is so ridiculous we instead shed tears to their pathetism.

No, the AI needs time to reach you. May as well a distant AI and hub preconizes long marches to reach the enemy through lands. And yes, if a land passage is available, the AI takes it instead of a naby enforced invasion.

I think the more interesting question is why settle that far south? Gaziantep is worthless, except for the marble.

It seems I was not the only one who was not ready for war.

Spoiler :

That hut must have something really good.

I miss Homer.

Spoiler :

One should not start a war with an opponent who has more than 50 nukes.

Spoiler :

What's going on in 1 and 3, and why are there so few roads in 1?

They had more important things to do with having 57 cities.

Previous turn, Izzy declared war and I wasn't sure where the invasion would take place.

In civ4 vanilla, Homer came with Music.

That doesn't really answer my other two questions. :p

ROFL, subtle Tatran, nicely subtle. Well done.

The early sixties were notorious for their frequent airplane crashes.

Hint: Great Artist.

Best I can figure is that the #1 city in the world, a size-10 founded in the ADs, must have appeared on the list shortly after Homer was born in a faraway land; therefore, Homer was used to culture-bomb said city.

There's an old line about jokes: "If you have to explain it, it's not funny." :cringe:

Why don't you just explain it instead of repeating the hint that Tatran already gave.

Being obscure about the joke makes it less funny, not more.

@ Seraiel; That would Be Tatran's decision, not mine. Additionally, I'm rather surprised that you haven't picked up the reference of Homer and Great Artist given the level of player you are. Maybe there is hope for you yet to come back to the Light Side of the force after all :mischief: <just teasing you a bit Ser>).

@ dalamb; Depends on an individuals point of view, doesn't it?

Thanks. That one was really confusing me.
