Amazing aqueduct... I love how it actually brings the city water... from a desert tile.

Maybe it's bringing fresh sand to the lovely beaches on the peninsula/island. Would that make it a silicoduct?

1,2) Wow, Pacal, you really want that city, don't you?
What he didn't know was that I had Rembrandt von Rijn heading towards it :D.
3) You have declared war on us twice! You are savage heathens! But you have a king, so we like you. The funny thing is, Shaka is Annoyed with him.
4) That is the first GP that Wang Kon has gotten this game. :D
5) Oh dear, what have I done to the world?
6) Seriously? You built Moai statues in a city with 2 coastal tiles? Bravo.

PS: this is on Emperor difficulty, and I just discovered the wonders of REX-ing and constantly declaring war. Plus, I had six great merchants born and I am streamlining merchant specialists, so my economy is doing somewhat OK. Having 52 cities around the globe with Christianity helps as well. I was really lucky that it spread across several island chains to Rameses, who went missionary crazy.

that's on Emperor? I've seen noble AIs get a high score that that by that turn.

It turned out later that I still hadn't met Justinian, who was on the same continent as Ram. Justinian had a ridiculous score, he build the 5 or 6 wonders that I hadn't gotten, and he had almost 30 cities (although some of them were crappy icy wasteland cities). He had something like 1200 points when I met him, he was ahead of 3rd place by almost 500.

I think this game was really uniquely balanced. All the serious REXers were put on the same continent: Zara, Charlie, Toku, Mehmed, and Genghis. The whole continent had apparently been a warzone for the last 2000 years. Mansa and Saladin were both doing fine on the same continent, but the problem was that they were in the middle of a fairly barren jungle. Same goes for Napoleon and Monty. On my continent was Frederick, who never did get around to building a military and got vassalized by me quickly (in fairness, he had a crappy starting place... 1 gold and 1 food source, but a few floodplains. And it turned out later that he had 1 uranium, 1 coal, and 1 oil in his BFC.) Shaka would have done well if he hadn't been hemmed in from the start... I guess he didn't have too many settlers, and got limited by Wang Kon to the west (who, by the way, had a very good starting place and just terrible surroundings) and Pacal II to the east (who expanded really fast and had a pretty serious military.) I had a very decent starting place and good surroundings. The only problem was barbarians, who loved me for some reason. At one point, I actually lost 4 cities out of my 6. Then I took them back, of course. Elizabeth generally does fantastic in her games, but in this one, for some reason, she had only one city until about 1000 AD, and then she was at war with Ragnar, who for some reason also didn't expand at all. This was just luck. I just played through a Monarch game where I got axe-rushed by Charlie, Monty, and Sury all at the same time. Lose on turn 130.

I hate how when the AI goes to war they never take more than one or two cities. No matter who they attack, human or another AI.

Tell me what game you are playing then. I just got reduced from 8 cities to 2 by Monty alone before he would accept a peace treaty.

In all games, except I did do an 17v1 Deity AI and after a DoW none of my allies did anything. And I hate the puny stacks.

let me guess, you edited the BUG score code, removed the total score and you are showing score delta there instead. There is no way your score is 119 with 12 cities. Or ...as that mod is a mod-mod of BUG, it could have 'played' with the scoring routine.

Yeah, that's not normal BTS.

My guess is that the Score column has been modified to show the difference between the player's score and the lowest player's score.

Edit: Oh, maybe this is what Ruff meant by "score delta" instead of the Score Delta column that is shown next to it.

Nope. It's set on Mastery score system instead of the old score system. This is just a plain revolution mod and Arabia had just been established.

Um... idiot advisor... the English remain here.

Who did I declare war on? Who?

That's it, I'm strongly considering crucifying my advisor. Wait, do Buddhists crucify?

Only on Tuesdays. All other days they draw and quarter. They do this to give their horses a day of rest.

But I don't have any horses on my own. ;);)
All my horses have been imported from Persia.:crazyeye:

In that case, "Bring out the comfy chair!". :p
