1: Monty has 10- against me for "Razing his cities".
Pfft, that's nothing... I have -33 with Pericles... of which -15 is from razing cities.
(I'm using the name Caesar even though I'm playing Hammurabi, BTW)

If anyone's wondering how world relations are so horrible... 2 words: Holy War.
Surya of the Khmer put war with Zara to vote... Zara's vassal was Pericles... I'm the Apostolic Palace owner... Joao and Churchill are Surya's vassals...
...and Shaka is just Shaka... he fights everyone for kicks. XD

I've been 'at war' with Zara and Pericles for centuries, perhaps over a millennium, but we've all been too busy to fight each-other (I trashed half of Greece long before this all began), and I just haven't bothered to declare peace because there's no point (I'd just get bugged with demands to improve favor >_>).
Joao is the only one who has an okay overall relation score. XD

That would be a horrable world to live in.

It is... the 'relations' screen has been a web of mostly red lines for as long as I can remember, and before that, there were over 9000 barbarians wondering around in the fog.
There's no such thing as peace. >.<

:scared: She's EVIL, I TELL YOU!!!

Spoiler :
Btw, I like to nickname her "Isabel la Diabólica" (her name in Spanish was Isabel la Católica, which translates into "Isabella the Catholic"; & I suppose you can guess why would the nickname fit)

Translation into English, so I can get why it's funny? :p

Oh. :crazyeye:

It may be just me, but the sheer overkill of this stack felt funny to me... also taking in to account I have 4 Generals in the stack, and a 5th leading the Cavalry in the adjacent plot to the West.
When I attacked, I couldn't even see the animation... XD

...and to think I was struggling with this map to begin with. o.O

Wow, that's a lot of cities.

And I think that's the first time I've ever seen a unit with the Combat 6 promotion.

Yeah, Huge Great Plains results in the AI overexpanding (fortunately this means I had an easier tech lead).

Anyways, Combat VI is one of the best promotions, and only Generals can get it.
+25% Strength, on top of the +50% you've already collected from Combat I-V, that makes +75%!

Questions:
1. What difficulty?
2. What map?
3. How can u have so many cities yet still have 60% science?:borg:

1. Noble
2. Huge Great Plains
3. Hammurabi has 1/2 cost civics (organized trait) + I built Courthouses everywhere + State Property + Corporation (the technology) Trade Route Boosts... I should be getting over 100 more gold income once Wall Street is complete, also, allowing me to push Science to 70%

I would be able to have even more science if I was using Free Speech (massive boost to commerce), but I always play using the Leader's favorite civic, so I'm using Bureaucracy.

P.S. I'm using the name Caesar but playing Hammurabi of Babylon, in case anybody's confused.

The power of State Property is HUGE when going for a domination victory on a huge map with lots of land. So HUGE that there's no other realistic civic and corporations are just useless. It becomes quite unbalanced under those circumstances. State Property saves you literally hundreds of gold per turn.

At first I found it funny that the Romans would have a Celtic Great General, but then you told us you weren't the Romans. :crazyeye:

Babylonians calling themselves Romans with a Celtic general is actually pretty funny.

Why are you demolishing Zara? Why not kill off Sury?
